The mic works great! very loud!!, loved it, super easy to install. just disconnect the battery (negative first, then positive) and attach the red wire to the positive and the black wire to the negative! Then connect the battery (Positive first, then negative!) and run the wire to the drivers seat! super simple!!

It's fun to play with the sounds are loud but the microphone is not very loud at all. The sounds sound to much like a 90s car alarm but still fun to play with. Easy to install, the wires aren't very long, speaker seems durable but the mic is cheap feeling. All an all fun little gadget for the price.

It’s is definitely cheap made. However it was only 17 dollars so with that being said. It performs excellent for the price. We got it for my daughters 4 wheeler. It is super loud I’m very surprised. Only thing I could recommend is longer power wires on the PA speaker. The mic wire is plenty long. So I am pleased and given the price I give 5 stars. If it will allow me I will add a video later

Bought two of these systems. I’d start off by saying this system is not to be relied on. Both mics did not emit much noise, to the point where even yelling in the car with the windows rolled up is louder than yelling into the mic. The horn was functional, although not very loud. The sirens were all very squeaky and sounded extremely cheap to the point where they were pretty much useless. I’ve had these for a couple weeks and already one of them completely stopped working and would have clicking noises when any function was operated.Installation was not very difficult, although the wires were not long enough to wire to the cigarette lighter from below the hood in both cars, which were sedans. The mic mount fell off in both cars when left overnight holding the mic.Overall, this product is not worth it. Not only is it not worth the money, but it’s also not worth the installation time since it won’t last that long anyways. I would say one might be faulty, but for two of the same product to have the same issues? It’s poor design and manufacturing.

It arrived exactly the next day. I installed it and I love it, the sound is loud and clear. Plus, installation was a breeze.

Ok, I admit up front that I may have a bit of an issue here. Too much time on my hands, a 3 year old son and unfulfilled childhood fantasies I am trying to clean up. That said, I bought this for my son's 12v electric ride-on police car. The car came with a "stock" siren/PA system, but the siren was anemic and the PA completely inaudible. Since I am currently involved in a good natured kids electric car arms race with my neighbor, and we have a long tradition of police service in the family, this was a state of affairs that demanded immediate attention.A bit of Amazon research found this Zone Tech 5. Made for a "regular" car, this affordably priced upgrade seemed to be just what I needed. And at this price point, I could afford to monkey with it to make it work for my particular use case. I ordered it and, thanks to Amazon Prime, it was at my door in a day. My poor wife just shrugged as I giggled with glee. My neighbor had recently seized the lead in our arms race by upgrading his daughter's car with functioning LED headlights and "gender-stereotype" appropriate colored lights on her car's roll bar. This demanded a response and the Zone Tech 5 fit the bill perfectly. The item includes a bell-type speaker, about 6 feet of telephone style wire that runs back to a mike head with 8 buttons. Some quick drill and screwdriver work had the speaker mounted into the trunk of the car, the cable run into the passenger area of the car and the microphone resting on its mount. It took about ten minutes for me to splice the power wires into the car's 12v system and we were ready for a test.Stay with me here. I live in a quiet neighborhood that hosts several immigrant families. Many of them have family members who visit from the "old country". When I hit the siren for the first time, a few things happened. One, I found that there is no "off" switch on this device. None. You fire the siren, you're committed. Two, the PA system on mine does not work at all. No using the PA to tell everyone that there is nothing to see here. Three, this thing is insanely loud (a fact I should have put together on my own, seeing as it is designed for actual cars driving down actual roads, not a kid's toy on a quiet suburban cul de sac). In my defense, I did figure out it was loud as soon as I turned it on for the first time. Oh boy, did I. Four, people from everywhere react to a loud police siren near their homes. People from some countries react with, um, animated vigor. Before I could pull the power lines apart, my street was full of a combination of curious and agitated neighbors, all loudly wondering what the h#$% was going on, what I was doing, inquiring as to my current level of sanity and informing me of the napping status of their children. My son, however, who had been helping me with the installation, stood looking up at me with the abject love and wonder that all fathers dream of inspiring. As I looked down into his now wide eyes, his mouth opened in amazement that his father had installed such a device on his police car, it was easy to ignore the gathering mob and their verbal pitchforks and multi-lingual torches. In that moment, I had achieved, however briefly, near-deity status in his world."Dad, that's mine?! Mommy's not going to like it"."That's ok, son. Some things are worth mom's wrath. I got this".I love this siren, warts and all. I will figure out a volume control, an off switch, managing my neighbors and how to fix the PA. All for the love of a three year old boy.

i only got this for the police horn, i ride a motorcycle so the sound eeerpp eeerpp makes the idiots move from blocking me on the carpool lane, when they hear the sound they give me the space they should have given me in the first place alot of these people block us motorcycles on purpose and this helps alot, by the time they realize im not a cop they have already made space for me and i have passed them by of course alot of the haters get mad and honk at me, but to late hahaha,, dont hate and block us grow a pair and buy a motorcycle. getting back to the product you cant beat the price for what you get i would have paid 20 dollars just to get the eeerpp eerpp sound.. i cant believe people complaint about the mic not working perfect when that is just a bonus feature if you are looking for a super clear mic go spend 100 dollars and be happy.. but sshhhhh i learn how to use the mic so it work really good, you have to hold it against your mouth when talking dont give it any distance laterally your lips have to be touching the center of the mic almost as if your making out with it. LOL i bought 2 of this sirens and i manage to work the mic nicely on both i cant ask for more. also i like to add that this sirens are really loud just like cops or fire sirens use it with caution..

this speaker does a crappy job. It says it has a loud speaker but mine didn't even work out of the box. I wouldn't recommend. You're better to go to Canadian tire, princess auto and pay a little bit more and get a far better product
