This is a good replacement for the HD Pan America horn if you don't want an air horn (and the associated extra wiring). I drilled a hole in the metal mounting bracket for this horn so that it would fit in the original horn location. I just removed the bolt that attached the original horn to the original mounting tab, and then bolted on the new horn. This horn draws the same amount of current as the original horn, but is louder and better sounding than the original without being obnoxious. It is not nearly as loud as an air horn. I'm very happy with the loudness and sound.

This worked perfect but read the instructions first and don't unscrew the center screw to change the mounting lol it will disable it or even stop it from working completely also if it doesn't work or isn't sounding right out of the box screw the center screw in just a tad and see if that helps once its fully mounted it won't or shouldn't have any vibration that will help with the performance or quality of sound this is also definitely louder than my original horn and sounds more modern like a chevy tahoe or silverado horn I hope this helps highly recommend it

I installed this into a 2007 Yamaha yzf-r6. This horn sounds way different compared to typical Japanese horns. Makes other motorists think I'm in a F-150 or something. It is definitely loud enough and will make others look out for a bigger truck.

Pretty easy to install. Had to make some bends in the supplied bracket to go right where the factory horn had been installed and connected using factory Kawasaki wiring terminals. Slightly larger than original horn but not obtrusive. Louder than factory horn and a sound that seems to cut thru traffic a little better. Not sure it would make any difference at freeway speeds in traffic but effective at lower speeds.

Cool little horn, that's louder than it's size suggests. Excellent quality too. It's not super-loud, 115db is not ear-splitting, but it has a a different-sounding trumpet-like tone that gets attention. Bap! Baap! Baaap! something like that. I put it on my motorcycle, fit in the tight horn location no problem, attached exactly like the factory item in my case, and my bike's electrical spade connectors fit right on. I was done in 10 minutes, including the time looking for the mounting bolt I dropped! Love it.

Installed on n a 2019 Z900RS. Much louder than stock and easy to install. A little pricy?

The horn is great for the 1st year but a few days ago when I really needed it it sounded like a dying cow, 13 months and it looks like I'm shopping for a better horn or at least one that will last a longer time.

Muy fácil de instalar. en particular en mi moto fue una pesadilla pero en si es bastante fácil de instalar.Very easy to install. Particularly on my bike it was a nightmare but in itself it is quite easy to install.

I bought this as a replacement for the anemic horn in a Honda PC800 Pacific Coast. The PC800 has extremely limited space for the horn, so my usual go-to aftermarket horn, the postively ear-shattering FIAMM Freeway Blaster would not fit. I thought I would give this one a try.It was a bit of work getting it to fit, but I did manage to get it in the original OEM horn spot. However, I was less than thrilled at the output. The tone is lower than the standard Japanese issue round "meep" horn found on most Asian motorcycles, which is good. However, perceived loudness was not much different than the OEM horn. While a definite upgrade from the OEM horn, it's not quite what I had hoped to hear. I also have questions about its longevity, as the housing itself is a fairly thin ABS. I'm hanging on to the OEM horn just in case.

No more wimpy horn for me. This sounds just like a car horn. Fits right where the stock horn was. It literally took only 5 minutes to replace the stock horn. The only downside for me is that per the instructions, the vented side should be facing down. I had to mount it facing up since that's the only way my bike will allow for it. I could have modified the bracket on the horn but the product says not to unscrew or modify it as it may cause the horn to no longer function. Not a biggie. I think it's perfectly fine as it is.Mounted on a 2014 Yamaha V-Star Custom.Updated: Added photos for a customer questionQuestion: Will this fit a 2002 honda metropolitan (scooter)? how hard is it to install? It was very easy to install. Here are photos and measurements of the STOCK HORN that was replaced. The horn on my bike had space to mount it. If the horn on the scooter is in a cramped or inaccessible spot, it may or may not work. However, I'm guessing compatibility is standard. You should be able to see the connectors on the stock horn and judge whether the Slim Line will work for you. If you do get it, it's an amazing sounding horn. You can listen to it here: [...]Good luck!

This horn was the second best upgrade I have done to my mc yet! It was plug-and-play and bolted right where my old horn was. Since my old horn sounded like a dying cat, this horn was a 500% improvement. That being said, it is pretty darn loud for a not-an-air horn.I would absolutely recommend this horn to anyone who can't stand their current horn. I feel safer now that drivers can hear me when I honk at them.

Replaced the beeeeeeep sounding original horn on my '13 FJR 1300. This PIAA is only slightly louder than the original, but the tone is much lower, making it sound more like a car or truck as opposed to a motorcycle. I believe that when someone hears this lower, more auto like sound, they will believe it is a larger vehicle and give it more respect. For a simple install and fairly low price, I think this is a no brainer for peace of mind.
