This product is great to paint on holds color really good only one thing the paper is so thin you must iron it to get the wrinkles out but it's worth it I recommend it beginners might have a problem with it but don't let that stop you,Rober.

I bought it for calligraphy practice. Which is a nice and cheapest paper I can find on Amazon. Somehow it not shows the best result but that is enough for practice

This is definitely not half raw half ripe. It is ripe for sure. Maybe good for detailed painting but not for calligraphy or loose painting.

This Xuan paper has good quality, feels super smooth and worth every penny. I use it for calligraphy, didn’t try it for drawing yet.

You get twice as much paper for the price and just as good or better for brush painting compared to other semi-ripe paper. Takes quite a bit of water and stood up. Ink gradation seems to work out better, too. Like lotus leaves! Not as thick as I would like but still... Very happy with the value and great for practicing. Keep this in stock, please!
