Where were velvet hangers in years past? They are perfect and do not require refrigeration, watering or vaccines. You can probably will them to your great great grandchildren. Buy with confidence

Die Bügel habe ich nach kurzer Zeit rausgeworfen, weil sie unpraktisch und unbrauchbar sind. Warum diese raue mit Samt überzogene Oberfläche? Hängt man Hemd oder T-Shirt drauf, hängen sie schief. Ständig muss man nach dem Bügeln mühselig die Kleidung mühselig zurechtzupfen, zurechtfummeln und geraderücken, damit sie gerade hängt. Unbrauchbar.

I was very impressed with these hangers, especially for the bargain price compared to shopping in physical stores. Unlike previous velvet hangers I've owned, these are "fully covered" in velvet. Looking at the seems they look very strong and like the velvet won't peel away or fray over time.The hangers themselves are very sturdy and don't bend at all even when hanging heavy coats on them. The necks swivel which is very handy for people like me who MUST have all the clothes facing the same way.I didn't notice on the pictures when purchasing but I really like the small belt/tie loop at the top. Definitley makes the hangers more multi-purpose.The only thing to be aware is that the velvet is very "velvety" (for want of a better phrase). This is excellent for its intended purpose of stopping items slipping off the hangers, but I still find it useful to use some plastic hangers for items with narrow necks that wouldn't slip off anyway. This is because due to the "velvety-ness" the hangers can be slightly bothersome to get narrow-necked items onto as they stick so effectively to the velvet.
