These hangers are excellent! They are extremely well-made and arrived with a good fit and finish. My hangers did not give off any type of odor as some reviewers mentioned. I also like that they bent a flat steel bar instead of a cylindrical rod for the hook. The bar gives the clothes more stability in the closet--making clothes less prone to "walking" when pulling out adjacent garments. Another reason why I like these hangers is that they use a non-slip rod for hanging pants rather than clips. I have found that clips can damage fabric fibers, so I avoid them if possible. There are really only a couple of cons to mention about these hangers. The first would be thickness/ bulkiness. If you are the kind of person that likes to stuff your closet with as many garments as possible, then these are not for you. They are about twice as thick as a standard plastic hanger. The other con is not really specific to these hangers, but rather the material they are made out of. Wood provides a high-end look in your closet, but it comes at the price of decreased water-resistance. I tend to air-dry my dress shirts, and I usually hang them up on hangers to minimize wrinkle formation. The problem is, wood hangers can warp when subjected to damp clothing. They can also bleed stain when dampened. For this reason, you will still need to "hang" (I'm so clever) onto those ugly plastic hangers even if you fully outfit your closet with these babies. To summarize:PROS:SturdyHigh-End AppearanceScrews instead of brads on pant rodHave a non-slip sleeve on the pant rodUse a substantial steel bar for the hook instead of a rodCONS:Bulky (Harder to maximize closet space)Subject to Water Damage (Wet clothes and wood hangers don't mix.)Despite these nitpicks, these hangers are well worth the price and will provide a massive upgrade to your closet in the looks department.

I purchased the hangers in a rich cherry finish, they are beautiful hangers that seem to be very well made. I love the fact that they used screws, not small nails and glue. My old wood hangers did use glue/nails and almost all of them broke right after I purchased them. My husband has been redoing our walk-in closet with new wood floors and will be putting in custom shelving and cabinets with glass doors to store my shoes and purses in. These hangers will make my closet look beautiful and custom. I have a great deal of clothing, so it will be a slow process replacing all of my old hangers with these. I love the hangers flat metal hanging hooks they fit the rods nicely and don’t have pointy edges to get caught on your clothing, having the wide flat hooks also puts more space between your clothing which is great for freshly dry cleaned clothes.( Due to the fact that the tighter your clothes are pushed together the more easily they become wrinkled. Do not know if these will outlast my old hangers yet since I just purchased them, will have to give an update at a later time. All in all, I’m rating these hangers a 5 star right now.😊👍

I really like these hangers. They're well varnished, and have a nice, thick clear coat on them, so they're really smooth to the touch. A lot of people complain about the smell (they did smell a bit at first). I personally would rather have a nice, smooth hanger, and a bad smell for a week or two than no smell and a rough, scratchy hanger. I ordered two sets and they came very well packaged. Not a single hanger was broken or chipped; all were in perfect condition. It's the small details, to me that really elevate these hangers over other brands. They use screws to connect the trouser bar where most others would use staples. These hangers are also very light, which seemed cheap at first, but after hanging 40 or so in my closet, I'm starting to appreciate their lightness more and more. I also love the look of the flattened, metal heads - which might just be my favorite detail of all. Also be aware that these hangers are not curved... They will lay perfectly flat on a table... Which was not a big deal for me, personally.Im very happy with my order and I just might have to buy more to get rid of my plastic hangers once and for all.

They are cherry wooden hangers. They cost more than the IKEA brand because the major difference is the sturdy metal hooks, screws used, smooth cherry varnish, and pant friction cover. Thickness of hanger is the same as IKEA brand. The staples used to hold the pant rod to the hanger is more than enough for most people, but if you want to pay a little more than a dollar per hanger, you have these amazing hangers that serve their purpose for years to come. Sure they cost more than plastic hangers, but if you have nicer clothes, and want to hang them instead of folding, these are a great choice.Excellent packaging and speedy shipment.Upon inspection, a few of the screws where screwed on too tight and cracked the rods. Not too terrible. I ordered 3 packs.
