My review of the ZKH 10Pcs Brad Point Wood Drill Bit Set, 12 Inch Extra Long Drill Bits for Wood, Plastic, PVC, Composite, Rubber, 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", 11/64", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16", 7/16", 1/2"If you do woodworking you need a set of brad point bits to get the most accuracy when drilling. This is a great set of brad point drill bits. They are very well made and all are very sharp. The points are centered and shaped well. The 1/2" bit even has a reduced size shank to enable you to use it in a 3/8" drill, a nice option. This set includes a good assortment of various sizes and if you take care of them they should last a long time. I'm very pleased with these brad point drill bits.

This is a decent set of bits for their modest price, and they come in a plastic pull apart case that keeps them together for storage. Fit and finish is as you'd expect for most brad point bits, with the points being ground a little rough but serviceable. To see how true they are I chucked each bit in the drill press. The larger bits run true, and the bits from 1/4" and smaller each have a slight bit of runout. Considering the type of bit and their price they're pretty true. If you spot the point where you want to drill before starting the smaller bits they'll be fine.These are impossible to find locally, and they're useful for setting a center hole for boring a band beam for dryer vents and such, as well as general shop use on wood and plastic. They won't get used often but there are times when they'll come in handy. For their price they're well worth it.

Good quality 12 inch long bits in a plastic case. Initial test holes drilled clean and with good debris removal. Not intended for use with metal or masonry, but should give good service if used only as intended on wood or plastic.Recommended for DIY or handyman.

Ordered this drill bit set for DIY projects around the house that require long bits. I really like that the bits come in a reusable container! I tested 5 drill bits on plywood and a 2x4 stud using a DeWalt 1/2" handheld drill motor. I really like that the 1/2" bit was ground down at the shank to fit better in the 1/2" chuck. NOTE: The bits are made specifically for wood or comparably soft materials. As such the tip geometry is flatter than bits designed for metal. The bits leave almost a spot faced/flat hole if you only go partially through the wood.The cutting was slower than I expected. Also, there was variation in the wobbling inherent in a 12" bit - 3 bits were straight and true while 2 of the 5 wobbled noticeably. However, the holes left by all bits were acceptable for wood working projects (I'm more of a metalsmith where precision is critical). Overall, a good set of bits at a great value!

This item includes a nice assortment of 12" (twelve inch) Brad Point drill bits. Included are a couple of large size 7/16" and 1/2" bits. Sets like this rarely include a 1/2" size bit.
