Changing my drum heads a little quicker now thanks to this! Fine threads take longer by hand, not anymore. Great tool that snaps into my drill with ease...

Did exactly what it said on the tin!Took less than half the usual time to change a bass drum head so that’s a winner in my book.

They fit and they work. They're especially useful when loosening tension rods on a DW snare, which have more than the average number of threads. I use a Dewalt DCF809B ATOMIC 20-Volt MAX Cordless 1/4 in. Impact Driver. If you're careful, go slow (which is possible with the DCF809B), and make sure you haven't cross threaded the rod, you can also bring the rod down to several threads before finger tight when reattaching the rim. Do NOT use this to tune your drum. Use a hand key for that.

Toss this sucker on your favorite electric screwdriver and you can change the heads on your kit fast! Of course you're going to still need a regular drum key (which I'm sure you have hundreds....that you've lost....like every other drummer) to actually tune the drum, but to pull all the heads off in a couple minutes and get everything back on in a blink, it's great! And since DW knows you're going to lose one of these, you get two!I did however find Amazon's rating criteria interesting though: They asked me to rate "Sheerness" on a 1-5 star scale. Sheerness? What the heck is that and why does it affect how a drum key works? Oh well. Rest assured, I gave its sheerness a full 5 stars and would have given it more if I'd had the chance.

I used to use a 1/4" socket extension flipped around in my drill so that the square end was facing out. It fit perfectly on the drum head keys. Now, with this, it is even more convenient to replace and tune the heads. Used with a 12 volt drill with adjustable torque, it is a drummer's new best friend.

As above - stick it in your drill and save your wrists from all the hassle of changing out lots of drum skins!
