I take a lot of notes and keep a notepad next to my laptop. The ZINCCO Legal Pads with Pen Holder is perfect/First, the paper is heavy duty (rated at 20 lbs). The paper does not bleed through with a pen or pencil, but when I tested with a wide tip permanent black marker pen, it did bleed through the reverse side of the paper, but did NOT bleed through to the next page. I do not intend to use a thick marker on the paper, but I wanted to test it. For almost all pens, the paper is fine.I like the cardboard backing of the pad. It makes it easy to move and a stable, flat writing surface. The pages tear off the pad easily and cleanly. They separated from the pad easily and cleanly. This is very important to me as other pad sheets ripped and did not separate cleanly - a big plus for the ZINCCO Legal Pads. The sheet size is 8 1/2 x 11 the so called standard size. They are called legal pads - but I usually think of legal pads as 8 1/2 x 14 (large size). What is very, very handy is the pen holder accessories. They came separately and permit attaching to the pads at a desired point. They permit me to keep a pen with the pads so I do not have to search for a pen when making notes. These are great pads, high quality, well made and with the pen holder accessory it is an excellent pad set. I give the ZINCCO Legal Pads a high recommendation.

This legal pad is offers good value and quality overall. Having used those from the big box stores, and using them as a basis for comparison, here are some thoughts on these legal pads.Pros:- Thick backer board makes them easier to handle because the entire stack is stiffer, especially when you are using the backer board as a hard surface to prop up the board.- Paper itself is better, thicker and heavier than the ones you find at the big box stores.- Ruled lines are straight and there are no ink bleeds, at least none that I've noticed.Cons:- Pricey. This is by far the most expensive stack of legal note pads I have come across.Overall, if your budget allows, this is a great addition to your office or note taking routine.

The pen holder is a nice addition to the ZINCCO Legal Pads with Pen Holder, 8.5 x 11.75, Wide Ruled, 6 Pack. It's nice to just have the pad and pen together when you need to write something. The holder is made of thick plastic and not reusable. It has adhesive that sticks to the cardboard backing. The paper thickness is average, similar to others I have tried. To test, I wrote on a piece of paper using a regular ballpen, and I'm happy to say that there was no ink bleeding.Although the listing indicates a paperweight of 20 lbs, the label on the product itself indicates a paper weight of 18 lbs. This number refers to the weight of 500 sheets of paper. On the listing, the dimensions of the pad paper are 8.5" x 11.75". Please note that the writeable area is 8.5" x 11" only. The extra 0.75" on the length is for the black tape binding on top. A pack of 6 with 40 sheets in each pad costs almost $23 which is pricey compared to similar products in Amazon. I found one with 12 pads, 50 sheets per pad, for about $15. The extra cost must be for the pen holders. There are 8 holders included in the pack. To cut cost, maybe the pen holder can be made reusable instead. One that can be clipped on the tape binding would be sufficient. It's good lined paper but too expensive.

I got this set of tablets for my speech team, and they work just like you would expect of pads of paper. They are just what we need, for sure. The rundown ...Quality -- Good paper and construction, perhaps a bit better than normal. 5/5Utility -- The work as advertised. 5/5Parity -- Great price! Helps us keep within our budget. 5/5

I started working from home back a few years ago and have to provide ny own supplies so I am constantly looking for nice quality legal pads as I tend to take lots of notes and make lots of lists. These legal pads fit the bill. The paper is nice quality and a little thicker than most. The backing is solid cardboard and provides good backing for writing. I think anyone needing good quality legal pads would be pleased.

This set of six white legal pads is actually really nice. The paper is of high quality, pens don't bleed through (even the ones that normally do), and they tear nicely. The cardboard backing is impressively strong and thick, and the pen holder is nice and handy. However, all these things, added up, do not justify the asking price for these notepads. While they may be of high quality–and perhaps some can afford to splurge on legal pads–I would suggest looking elsewhere. Even our notoriously high-priced office supply stores sell legal pads in bigger packs with more pages at a significantly lower price.Bottom line: the product is very nice. However, I can only give it three stars because it is so unreasonably priced in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are great legal pads. I'm a prolific note taker and I go through a ton of paper so these large notepads are perfect. The lines are dark and easy to see, although I would have preferred more of a college rule so I maximize the paper space more. There is a double red margin line on the left side. The paper is soft and smooth and my pen flows nicely and comfortably on the paper. The sheets are perforated so it's relatively easy to tear off a sheet. There are 6 pads in total with optional pen slots if you want to attach them. I do find these legal pads overpriced as you only receive 6 pads with 40 sheets. Overall, these legal pads are a great product and get the job done.

I highly recommend these notepads. If you like a legal style notepad, but don’t want the yellow, these are a great alternative. I prefer the top flip style for note-taking, and these were very good, exceeding expectations. I don’t use the pen loop much, but it seems well made and fits most sizes of pen.
