I bought these for note taking for school, and so far, loving them. The pages rip from the binding cleanly (which doesn't always happen with these kinds of note pads) and the quality for price was more than reasonable.

I like the white, wide ruled pads of paper. I watch a tv program and take lots of notes. I have used the non-wide pads and the sentences look and are crammed together, like there is no "air or space" between the words. Sounds funny, but true. Plus being older, the fingers need that ability to write and it is readable.You will find pads of the same paper with more paper to each pad. Take that into consideration if you need larger pads, I did not. Enjoy.

If you want thin cheap paper, buy this. Good for quick notes but not for flipping through your note pad, very thin
