I have an old sport bike with plastic fairings. It's never been dropped (at least by me) but over time the fairings have become a bit brittle in some areas. Well, plastic does that over time as the plasticizers outgas. The end result is that the last time I stripped the bike, a couple of mounting tabs broke off. I put one back on with fiberglass cloth and 2-part epoxy resin, but that's messy and takes time.I happened to watch a video of someone repairing plastic panels with a hot stapler. I went on Amazon and found one for less than $15, and it even came with an assortment of staples, but I wanted to have additional shapes and configurations available. For the princely sum of $16.99 I bought this kit with a bazillion heat staples in several configurations. I then went about fixing up my bike's fairings. These are a little thinner than the ones that came with my hot stapler but they work just fine. They sink into the plastic nicely and set up very rigid. Time will tell how well they hold up but I don't expect any problems.Of course, I still have close to 1800 staples left over. I'm sure I'll find additional uses for them (the entire world is made of plastic, it seems) so I'm not upset about that at all.

The box is bigger than it looks and has a good variety and quantity. You will definitely not run out any time soon.

I didn't take this pick until I dumped everything out and started to clean up the mess. All of the dividers were just sitting in the case. The staples were in 6 clumps with many mixing. I paid more for this for the case. Don't bother! Staples work fine!
