The TriggerTack™ is designed for compatibility with Jonard UL Listed Insulated Cable Staples STG-14I, STG-56I, and STG-1456I, as well as Arrow T59 type staples.
Trigger Actuated mode, switch with dial, allows preloading the staple by squeezing the handle, positioning the tacker over your work surface or wire/cable using the guides, and triggering the stapling action with a squeeze.
Adjust the fastener depth with the switch controlled, depth adjuster.

I've only shot a few staples so far, but I am very impressed. I wanted to leave a review for others since there were no reviews when I took a chance and ordered this tool.I bought this for both the insulated staples (which some recommend for data cables) but primarily the trigger feature. My current staple gun has worked fine in most situations, but has been very difficult to shoot when up on a ladder, stretching my arm out then trying to squeeze the handle without shaking, twisting or moving the gun, or worse slipping and shooting the staple through the cable or falling off the ladder. The old gun uses non-insulated staples which are compact, but could crush into the cable and disturb signal.This Jonard Tools STG-100 TriggerTack has a trigger feature that allows you to cock the gun first, then position it over the cable and gently pull the trigger. Snap, the staple drives right in, and the insulation protects the cable from the staple.I purchased the Jonard #19 staples 1/4" x 1/4" which work perfectly with the Cat6 cable I am using. The staples are more compact than I had anticipated and the plastic insulation bottoms out and does not crush the cable. The gun has an adjustment for a minus - for less power if shooting into dry wall or softer material, or a plus + setting for more force to go into harder wood or material. You can also buy staples with a larger curve to accommodate a larger diameter cable, if needed.Anyway, I really like this tool!
