I was able to remove staples from the flooring, after 30 years in the wood this tool made it easy to remove them. Our electrician uses it for his bigger staples too. Made well with multiple options, and I think you can open a beer too!

What a fantastic tool. I didn't know I needed this years ago. Easily call Staples or pry nails. Having me stable holder so you don't smash your fingers while stapling your cable is just a genius idea. For the price never going to go wrong and get yourself more today. I promise you won't regret it

Works great for pulling staples. I've used it mainly for demo in old houses where there was no concern with damaging the wire.

Basically just a pry bar that’s notched out. Works good to pull staples out. I grab for it when I have ones that don’t come out easy with a angled side cutter.

I’m an electrician and I do a lot of restoration/renovation work. This is super handy! It pulls out staples very easily without damaging wires, and the staple holder is great for holding staples in tight spaces. I’ve purchased this product twice now, nothing went wrong with the first one, I just lost it somewhere(pretty sure someone’s basement has my first one inside a wall now… oh well). Well worth it, a tool I couldn’t live without at this point.Edit: I had all my tools stolen out of my work van, and when replacing them I bought this again. I’ve now purchased this tool three times, super worth it.

When I started my electrical apprenticeship years ago, I remember my journeyman getting to use one of these for a job and raved about how amazing it was. So I kept my eye on this little doo-dad for a few years. Now that I run a lot of remodel work, I run into many many old staples. From old steel staples to the plastic romex staples that have seem some age. For old steel staples, whether it be in a 100+ year old house to current times, the right amount of leverage will get it out with little problem. Beats using your diagonals to pry and bang out. Cuts time in more than half sometimes. Also works great for reaching into a box opening and popping some old staples just to get a few more inches of wire into your new box. Or even into a tight floor joist space. Shiny or rusty, this gets them out.I also found that the pry bar has it's uses. When removing plastic staples, the hook end has the tendency to rip right through the plastic, or if I'm lucky just barely pops the staple out. Flip to the pry bar end, get under that staple and finish it off! As many others have said, the steel seems cheap and flimsy. And I agree. Therefore, I treat it gently and don't over abuse it. That's what my cat's paw or heavy duty pry bars are for. This is more like my Dasco trim bar, but maybe even lighter duty. So light use only, such as staples or helping pry off a chunk of drywall that you just cut.Product does seem overpriced, seeing a trim bar set costs less than one of these. I get it, proprietary most likely patented design. Still a tad high. Yet the frustration it saves me on the job does seem to be worth the cost when I can fly through demo in no time. Get it if you want to save time and knuckles if you're removing lots of old wire and rewiring. Just be gentle with it and love it long time and it'll treat you well.
