Love using this when my hands need a break! Just be careful to watch it so it doesn’t drop a stitch!

I love my Sentro, but this addition has made me fall in love with it. Thanks to the genius that came up with this idea.

This definitely works better than using a drill attachment. The hands free is really really convenient overall it works well except it keeps giving me error messages and stops randomly for no reason. Not jammed or anything. Unsure if this is an issue with the item itself or related to my machine but my knitting machine is brand new.

Adapter is good but was advertised as being for BOTH a Sentro 40 Pin OR 48 Pin machine. I wanted it for my Sentro 48, but have to put it on my 40 machine, which I don't use a lot. The seller has now changed the description to say it's for a 48 pin machine only. I need a longer screw to be able to fit it to my 48 machine and have trouble finding the right one (machine screw metric 2.5mm x 30mm) unless I want to buy a pack of 100! Misleading advertising. (He still talks about a 40 machine in the small print in the ad. He forgot to change that)

Arrived missing the gear change shaft. Now it is too late for me to get a new one to fill my order, and the price has gone up

If you own a 48 pin Sentro where the cap doesn’t pop off on the handle this will not work for you! My machine has a glued on cap or permanent cap. I tried removing the top to see if I could use the cog gear glued to the handle and I could not. It needs a cog gear piece to work. Sadly disappointed and returning the zest wrench.

I installed this adapter on my 48-pin Sentro machine, and I was up and running in no time after that. Within 45 minutes of assembly, I had a finished tube that I later turned into a really nice hat.I was confused about the difference in installing the device on the 48-pin Sentro as opposed to the 40-pin, but as soon as that was squared away (instructions for 40-pin on one side of the sheet and for the 48-pin on the other, duh!) — I’ll chalk it up as a senior moment — I had no problem at all.The ZestWrench works as advertised. Its display shows speed (I used Low for the first few rows and High for the rest), and the row counter gave me the same count as the one on the machine. It stopped a couple of times when the yarn wasn’t feeding easily, but I just fixed the yarn and started it again. I think this is a safety measure to keep the machine from overheating (and the yarn from being ruined).I have lots of yarn set aside for more hats, and with the ZestWrench I’m sure I’ll be able to make all of them without wearing myself out using the Sentro’s original crank. This thing really works, and I’m very glad I bought it.

I installed this on my SANTRO 40 and it works great! Works on low and high speed. It takes a bit of patience to install it, but it is worth the effort. It goes relatively slowly even on high speed, and is not too loud. It skipped a couple of stitches but that's easily fixable.
