I recently purchased the Ankle Bone Protection Socks Malleolar Sleeves with Gel Pads for my 10-year-old child. While the product itself offers great protection and comfort, the fit was slightly loose. The gel pads provide excellent cushioning and support, which is perfect for active kids who need extra ankle protection. However, I believe this product could benefit from offering more size options specifically designed for children.The quality of the material is impressive, and the sleeves do provide a level of protection that is ideal for sports and daily activities. My child finds them comfortable to wear, but the looseness means they might not offer the optimal support for all kids. If the manufacturer could introduce more sizes catering to children, this would be a fantastic product for active young ones.

I have had surgery on my outer ankle bone and have tried several years using different things to keep the pressure off the bone. Because of the surgery, I can only sleep on one side so all night there is pressure on the bone and the pain wakes me several times a night. I was very happy to find these but to advertise that one size fits most is a stretch. I have a narrow size 7.5 foot and I can barely get these on! They do stretch a bit but they are very tight and that creates discomfort. I will say that the concept is great and the first night when I wrestled with it to get the pad in the right place, it worked very well. By morning, it felt very tight but it did protect the bone. I think the company needs to consider sizing though.

I used to dread wearing my favorite boots because of the constant rubbing and irritation around my ankles. I had the heel of my figure skates pinched but I was still getting inflammation on the area where the Achilles connects to the heel. These pads completely stopped the pain I felt when flexing or pointing my foot, but I had to play around with the placement. My heels would go numb if I wore them like in the picture. Also, wearing them that way prevented my heel from settling all the way back/down and I slid into the toe box of my skates. The trick is to move them up higher so that the gel starts touching just below the bump area. I get better results using the round end over the bump and the 2-tailed end closer to the top of the skates. This method covers the bump without adding extra bulk in the heel. That being said, I wish there were a shorter sleeve option. Wearing them higher means they come all the way up to the base of my calf. The gel quality is better than Bunga pads. It’s more durable and doesn’t develop dents.

I've owned a pair of Frye Veronica Moto Boots for 3 years. I've worn them less than a handful of times because they absolutely annihilate the backs of my heels. They're supremely cute and just as uncomfortable. There are Reddit threads about these boots, women everywhere can't seem to break them in and we're all suffering. #justgirlythings. Anywho, these compression protectors have given me both my feet and sartorial freedom back. They're comfortable to wear (I wear them over socks), the padding is perfect (not too thick but definitely providing plenty of cushion), and they do not budge once they're on so no risk of sliding around in the shoe and defeating the purpose (like those silicone gel heel protectors can do--I have clearly tried everything). Buy these. I'm buying more.

Her AFO brace was really rubbing on her outer ankle bone - red and painful!. Immediately helped cushion the ankle bone. She does need to wear and additional sock underneath so it fits better. But otherwise, highly recommended.

J'tais sceptique mais ça fonctionne. J'avais des douleurs presqu'intolérables dans mes bottes de ski alpin et les coussinets en gel ne gènent pas du tout lorsque j'insère mon pieds dans la botte et ils réduisent substantielleemnt la douleur au niveau de la malléole intérieur où j'ai une douleur. C'est maintenant tolérable pour finir la saison et l'an prochai je suis convaicu que ça préviendra la douleur de revenir.

I rollerskate w/very expensive figure/artistic roller skates for dancing/jamming/artistic roller skating. The brand new artistic roller skating boots are a good fit for my size 5.5 to 6 (USA) feet but breaking into new skates is almost a guaranteed lace bite experience. I was skeptical when I purchased these but thankfully, these proven my skepticism wrong!It does an excellent job saving my feet from lace bite. I’ve been using the same pair for a year now and though I haven’t skated often, when I do skate, it is for about 3 hours of agressive dancing moves. These have held up beautifully. I am investing in a second pair just to have it as a “back up” when the ones I purchased last year get sweaty and eventually, are good to retire.These are extremely tight so I don’t recommend for larger feet.Sturdy material yet soft enough to fit the contour of my feet without cutting my blood circulation.My feet are rather thin and small (size 5.5 to 6 USA shoe size) and still, these fit tightly. But it is a perfect “tight” fit on my small, thin feet; any larger and it’d be too lose.I can understand the negative reviews here concerning these being “too tight” for larger feet. The company should’ve specify size. But if these were larger and loser, it wouldn’t work as well for my small feet. It has worked perfectly and prevented me from lace bite, which was indeed happening before I purchased these!I love that the padding is long enough to cover a very good portion of the top of my feet into the lower shin area.I also love that the gel is just thick enough to protect the skin but not too think to interfere with fitting my feet into the brand new skate boots. It simply works perfectly for me. I have very sensitive skin and have not noticed any itching, even when I get sweaty feet from intensive skating! This tells me that the material used is good quality...it is certainly durable as I’ve been using for a year now and it still looks very good. I have not washed it yet...I’m buying a second pair as a back up, in case this falls apart when I wash it, which should be soon. Once I wash it, I’ll try to update my review. I think this is best to be washed by hand.Perfect for smaller/thin “skater” feet! So yes, I highly recommend these but not for those with larger feet.
