When determining sizing, the ankle circumference should be used as the primary measure. Measure the circumference of the ankle at the widest part over the ankle bone. If in between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Each compression ankle support features graduated compression technology.

After spraining my ankle I ordered this brace to help support my ankle. It has been a lifesaver. I have been able to recover better and faster because of this brace and the support and compression it offers.

These provide firm but comfortable support for painful ankles and can be worn either without socks (as in the summer when wearing sandals) or over socks (as in the cooler months), provided the socks are not thick and heavyweight. They are trickier to use underneath socks, unless the socks fit loosely, because the part that covers the instep will tend to roll up as you put the sock on over the ankle brace. You will then have bunched up elastic fabric on your foot, making your shoes uncomfortable to wear, not providing the support the brace was designed for, and probably causing blisters if you walk a lot. So be careful if/when you put these on to wear under under socks! They wash easily by hand or in the machine and airdry quickly. I would NEVER put them in the dryer. I have tendinitis in one of my feet and these help me to get through long days on my feet with minimal pain and swelling.

I have two of these, the black and the neutral. I wear a small and I am a size 6 shoe in women’s. These are my favorite compression sleeves. They fit how they should and immediately help my bad ankles. When I have minor tweaks or just bad days, I will wear them all day. They are comfortable enough to do that. I found that, personally, they are too tight in my soccer cleats while playing so I would advise against that. I play with braces anyway so I don’t need them for that function. Great product and I recommend them to all of my friends with injuries. They are also super durable. I’ve had the neutral color for a few years and it feels brand new still.

lo compre para un dolor constante de tobillo, habia probado otras tobilleras, esta es excelente en agarre, medida y calidad del material, muy buena compra, pedire otra mas adelante, por cierto llevo usandola desde que me llego y mi malestar ha disminuido, la uso para ir al gym y hacer cardio,

La tobillera tiene un buen aprieta al ponermela, al inicio no se sentia que me sujetara bien el tobillo pero al pasar los dias lo sujeta de mejor manera que no se siente al caminar. Es muy comoda la verdad.

El producto se nota de buena calidad y se nota el soporte necesario para el tobillo. Lo compré para jugar fútbol, sin embargo no estoy seguro de que funcione a nivel de juego semi-profesional. Tal vez el vendaje sea mejor opción.

Size small fit average-width women’s size 7 foot perfectly. Doctor suggested wearing compression socks post-ankle-surgery (lateral tendons & ligaments) to keep swelling down. I found most compression socks were too padded or too long; this has no padding and the support weave falls at the right places on my feet. It’s easy to layer over or under (thin) socks, and does indeed prevent my ankle from swelling without cutting off circulation. In terms of support, it’s flexible and comfortable, but still gives some security for lateral movement. It is not a heavy or stiff brace, but a tightly-woven thick fabric sleeve. The edges are beveled, which prevents them from irritating or rubbing my mid foot. These fit easily in my recreational inline skates and quads, but do not fit comfortably my tight-fitting carbon speed skates. Note: wearing socks over the brace prevents the edges from rolling up when inserting foot into shoe. I’m ordering a few more of these.

I got the Zensah Compression Ankle Support Sleeve because a bad ankle sprain this winter has left my ankle weak and with residual swelling. I was looking for support of the ankle and compression for the swelling. I have some ankle pain too. I think this is designed more for athletes than general ankle support. I thought it looked good and might fill the need for me and I like the pink/black color of the one I got.I got mixed results. This is less good for me than perhaps a more athletic person like in the product pictures provided by the seller. I'm more toward the Pain Relief for sprains and arthritis as an oldish person. I do feel it supports my ankle a little and perhaps as much as could be expected by an elastic sleeve like this one.Perhaps because of swelling and being (let's just call it "big boned") I found it has some tendency to roll at either end, but mostly at the toe end. This isn't severe but I need to pull it out periodically. The compression feels good but for me it becomes uncomfortable by evening where the top of my ankle bends. This isn't something I can comfortably wear all day but is pretty good for up to a few hours.If you are more on the slim and athletic side this is probably a great choice. For the older, slower and heavier like me it's good, but only just good. Being clear I'm not the primary target audience but it worked fairly well for me I'm giving it 4 stars for people like me. If you are younger and athletic and slim it's probably a 5 star choice.UPDATE Oct 16, 2017:It's been 5 months and my feelings about the Zensah are about the same. It gives my ankle some help when it is feeling weak, but only a little. I only use it when my ankle is feeling weak/wobbly/sore. It got better and I didn't wear it most of the summer: just when I felt I needed it. Several washes and there are a few pills and broken threads. I don't think this is unusual wear and it seems to have maintained the snug fit. Still 4 stars for me.UPDATE Feb 6, 2018:After a slip (but not fall, thankfully) I had a mild sprain so pulled out my Zensah ankle brace after not needing it for a while. Compared to prior use on a much more severe sprain it seems to help more with this mild one in terms of pain relief. Not a lot of support. Otherwise my experience is pretty much unchanged. Still at 4 stars.
