This is a very nice bag and enough padding for what I need. I don't plan on taking it on airplanes anyhow since I do all my travel driving. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is only because for an 11" conga for which it is made my drum barely fits in it. I have an 11" quinto Toca Traditional series. Perhaps in other style drums there may be more space but for me I expected a little more room It actually fits like a glove meaning you have to stuff it in with barely enough hand room.

After reading reviews, I was a little concerned about the fit that some had expressed disappointment with. But I have also experienced many times products working out for me that others found discrepancy with, so decided to trust the product description and specs and VERY glad I did. I am replacing a Latin Percussion bag that lasted me over 35 years and served me incredibly well. This bag literally fits smooth as a glove with no extra space for drum to slide around in. Cannot speak to durability, as I just received it, but it appears very well made. Padding seems perfectly adequate, placement of handle is great (a bit more toward the top, where more of the weight is, for a more balanced carry), and accessory pocket is nice size (6X7.5X2"). FYI, my drum is a Conga, that measures 13" across top by 28" tall. Bag does have a pretty strong "chemical" smell initially, but has already faded by 50% in 24 hours. Shipping was incredibly quick. Seems very reasonably priced; will see how it holds up, but very pleased at this point!

Absolutely perfect for my needs. My drums don’t see much road use, but they still need protection. This bag fits snug, and has plenty of padding for my needs. If you’re a road warrior, you might consider a more expensive product.

I bought these gig bags for my Latin Percussion Aspire series Congas. So far, I am extremely happy with my purchase.They fit perfectly, and they are very easy to work with, allowing me to slip my congas in and out of them easily while they stand upright, which is unlike my bandmate’s very expensive Roadrunner bags, which are a pain in the arse to get the congs in and out of.Mind you, these are not high-end padded bags, like the Roadrunners. They don’t have a ton of padding, so I wouldn’t want to be banging these things around too much, but I don’t mind putting the congas in my trunk up against each other, and I don’t mind setting them on the ground for a bit without fear of them being scratched. In that sense, they are pretty much perfect for what I need, and exactly what I expected.I can’t attest for long-term use, since I’ve only had them for a month, but the few gigs that I have use them for, thus far, they have been just fine for my needs.have carrying straps that allow me to swing one across each shoulder, if I need to.

I have a drum that is 30 inches tall. It fits like a glove. A little snug, but fits perfectly. Seems like it will be durable, at least for my casual purposes.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this item. I now wish I had ordered 2 pieces because they seem to be out of stock. I have a 12" tumbadora...and although it is snug; it acutally fits that larger drum. I fits my 11" drum nicely and I am very pleased with the quality and durability! What a great find for the price!
