40 year techie here.This cable only:- splits a keyboard port into 2 keyboard ports.- splits a mouse port into 2 mouse ports.This cable WILL NOT allow you to connect a keyboard + mouse to a single PS/2 port.You will never find a case where you need to hook 2 keyboards to the same port, or connect 2 mice to the same port.Therefore, this listing is misleading or the seller isn't aware of what he he's selling and thus it's cost him on his ratings.

It works if you plug in either a keyboard, or a mouse, separately. If you plug in both… At least one of them will start acting flaky.

Was bought to use keyboard and mouse in new PC but appears is eiether faulty but only one connector appears to work.

This product is a simple 6-pin mini-din splitter, all pins are connected 1:1. This is NOT usable in any way for PS/2 mice and/or keyboards. A proper PS/2 splitter will remap the data & clock pins for the mouse to the two pins normally unused by the keyboard. Seller needs to correct the listing as the splitter does not and cannot function as advertised.

This is not compatible with laptops that have keyboard on the mouse port on a single jack. This is a straight through Y cable and does not connect keyboard from pins 2 and 6 over to over to 1 and 5.

The keyboard works when plugged in directly, but does not when connected to either female side of the splitter whether or not the mouse is connected at the same time. Useless.

This item didn't work on a MSI B550 motherboard with PS/2 combo port. Keyboard and mouse not recognized and keyboard lights flashed on/off wildly. Amazon refunded with no hassle, kudos to them.EDIT: Looks like review is posted to wrong item, my review was for "zdyCGTime PS 2 Splitter 6 pin Mini Din Male Plug to 2 x Female Sockets Cable Mouse/Keyboard Y Splitter" which did not work for me.
