This compound are used by Jewelers to provide a lustrous finish, yet doesn’t require the pre-finish a rouge can. These versatile compounds allow jewelers to polish most metals, softer stones, epoxies and plastics. For best results, avoid surface drag lines on stone, epoxy or plastic by not letting the buff get too hot. Use with soft stones or any metal. Use with tight-weave muslin wheels. Mildly abrasive. Initial surfaces should be prepared with Tripoli or White Diamond.

Sam came quickly, I was surprised it didn’t have a lid. Used on a piece of turquoise and just a plain polishing cloth worked to shine the turquoise.

It's amazing it works as advertised. To the reviewer that said that it came without a lid and was dry. That's how it comes. It may have a paper lid on at some point but other than that it looked like I expected it to look.

Bought this because it was recommended for rock polishing. Product came with no lid, and was completely dry and hard. I could not get any Product out and was unable to use it. Really disappointed

Good product, I use this product often (the 4-stars is because this tube was dried out - usable but a bit drier than normal.)

Works great to polish rocks. Yes it is hard in the tube but it says it is supposed to be on the manufacturer site. I use it with a ryobi rotary tool .

The product looked daunting at first because it's so solid and hard. But using a dremel and pressing a small polishing wheel into the material on low speed coats the wheel and then touching it gently to the turquoise on medium speed cleans and polishes stones beautifully. It does quirt bits of the material all around so I use it outside on the deck wearing goggles. The results on vintage and antique turquoise are nothing short of astounding - the colors become brighter and dulled finishes become glossy again. It also smooths small scratches. Requires careful use and is truly messy - but works much better than other products. Highly recommend.
