Works great on brass..immerse for a minute and the brass turns brown/purple the rinse and wipe with cloth or scotchbrite to give brass a aged look.

My husband is using this stuff for restoring old brass fixtures. He actually had me order more because it worked so well.

This product worked to darken a light spot to my copper bathroom sink. The spot was small, so I used a Q-tip to place the product. Do not get product on any other area as it may turn Cooper black. It takes about 15 minutes.

We will continue to experiment on different materials. We tried it on brass plated hinges with no success. I don't blame the product but just haven't found the right application.

Works as advertised. Must get any lacquer off in advance. For brass, you can get a very dark brown/bronze with longer exposure. Fresh liquid will prevent a speckled outcome. Don’t be surprised if patina rubs off- so get the color you want, allow to air dry (one review said to rinse with water- I disagree), once dry- use a spray on lacquer (2-3 rounds) and your Hardware will be good to go.
