I switched my Golden brand scooter from lead-acid to LiFePO4 and this charger works great for that. It's not as high an amperage as the batteries can take (so doesn't reduce charge time over my old 5A one that doesn't support LiFePO4), but the scooter charge port wiring has a 5A fuse and I'd have had to make other changes to up the current or simply upped the fuse size and risked that the wires couldn't handle it. It comes with the same connecter and wiring as the original, so, no swapping of the charge port or other charging mods needed.As part of my conversion, I added a meter that shows actual current flow (charge and discharge) as well as remaining amp-hours (since voltage is no longer a good gauge of charge level with LiFePO4), and the meter shows the charge is as rated up until just before the batteries are fully charged, when the current drops and ultimately "tops them off". That's the recommended way of charging LiFePO4 batteries, so it's doing the job right.
