I’ve found in 50 years of using this stuff. But do keep in mind that this is pass through and not wrap over, which will limit its application unless you are able/willing to dissemble existing piping/wiring. With that exception, for most applications, this is superior in every way, e.g. flexible, cleaner appears,and I expect it to be more durable.

High quality .At 3 bucks a foot it better be top quality , haha .The silicone jacket is permanently welded to the fiberglass interior sleeve .1/2" ID , but you can squeeze an extra 1/32" into it if really needed . ( 17/32" )
