The size is perfect for a shallow or narrow desk. I recently switched out my mouse. The original mouse tracked just fine on it, but the new one does not. I had to buy a mousepad. If you plan on putting quick reference notes under your clear mat, the ink will transfer, leaving stains.

My son's desk has a faux wood finish causing issues when he would draw. This fits great, is clear so you can see through it, easy to wipe marker off of and doesn't slip or move when he draws. It came rolled up but flattened out in a few hours.

I like my new desk protector. The size is good and I had no difficulty laying it. It looks durable and i love that i can use my mouse on it without the need for a mouse pad. When i was selcting it I was thrilled with the various sizes available . The size I chose fit fine and there was no need for additional cutting. I am pleased with it and would purchase again. Purchased 9/2024

I am very happy with this desk mat (24" x 36"; thickness is approx. 1 mm), and I am keeping it. Mine is clear with a very light matte finish to enable an optical mouse to work without any additional mouse pad, and it does. So it is not as clear as glass, but it is transparent so you can see through it easily. My beautiful wooden desk shows through the mat nicely, just the way I wanted, and the mat is firm, but has the right amount of give to allow writing on paper, etc., without any damage to the underlying surface.My mat arrived rolled-up loosely, but laid perfectly flat within minutes with no need for objects to hold the edges down. There is no annoying odor from the material, which appears to be a very flexible plastic. There is no need for tape, etc., to keep the mat from sliding as you work on it. If you wear hand moisturizer, your fingerprints might show more on this mat more than they would on a semi-glossy black one, but my clear mat cleans-up nicely with a damp cloth with a light cleaning agent. I would not recommend putting hot drinks directly on this mat without a coaster; a cool/cold drink would probably be fine. Buy it--you'll like it!

Received today and on the desk 2 hours later. Reverse rolled it after getting out of box. It is laying perfectly flat on my desk! The clarity is fantastic. Photos and notes look like they are on top of the mat. Frosted finish is works perfectly. No glare at all from desk light. Good thickness...no too thin or too thick. Size is exactly what I was needing. Didn't see any other mats in the size of the one I purchased. Not having any issues with the mat sliding on the desk. As some have mentioned the mouse doesn't seem to slide quite as easily as on my previous mat but so far it's not a problem for me. Once I started working I didn't really notice it. I see on the product page the company says a new mouse friendly mat will be out soon. Overall I could not be more pleased with this desk mat. After searching forever to find one and purchasing 2 only to return them this one was a winner right out of the box!

Perfect for protecting the top of a dresser in a nursery where we will have wet things like a wipe warmer etc. Looks good, sturdy, and dimensions were correct.

I bought this to protect a rolling table from spills and it’s more than paid for itself. It’s thicker than I expected, but still pretty clear(there’s a bit of frosted white to it not much). I didn’t have to use the included sticky pads as it stays in place without them. Definitely recommend this for kids, crafting, etc.
