Gets the job done and looks good on my desk. I just wish it was a little bit higher quality. Leather is thinner than I’d like and the edges aren’t as clean cut. But still a good purchase for the price.

I was a littler nervous the color would be too vibrant for my office but it turned out perfect, came in great shape, perfect size for my uplift desk and looks so sharp, along with the plus of it being stain and water resistant as I tend to drink at my desk and spill coffee or my amino energy drink on my previous mousepads at times lol

This mat is beautiful! I've only just received it and set it up, so I can't report just yet on using it for gaming, but it's easy to wipe down and is already flattening out quickly after setting a book on the curled-up end. The only (minor) issues I ran into were that it's longer than advertised, and has a few rough-cut edges. Not really worth knocking a star off, but notable towards the quality of the item & listing. The length was pretty important since I wanted it to fit within the confines of my monitor stand, which measured right at 36". The mat is more like 37 3/4" -- thankfully for me that just means I had to set it under the feet of my monitor stand, but I felt this may be helpful for anyone working with specific measurements! The rough edges aren't immediately noticeable but when you do see it, it throws off the overall sleek look. Not the end of the world, I'm sure it can be trimmed off. Five stars regardless. :)

I don't, yet, know about the durability but the packaging was excellent and the quality so far has been great. A nice, comfortable work surface to define a workspace on a desk or table. We like the one I ordered for my desk in our living room so much that we're ordering two more to use to setup two different spaces (one downstairs on our dining room table and one upstairs in my wife's studio) where our son can setup for remote schooling in the school year to come. Getting this to give him a surface wide enough for his laptop and some paper and writing utensils without writing directly on our tabletops (the concern downstairs) and upstairs in my wife's design studio have a clear space for him amidst her design studio and craft tools. One that will look good but also be highly functional as a slip resistant surface as well as a comfortable one on top of which to write.

After using the Aothia desk protector (in white) for a couple of months, it truly balances desk protection with day to day utility. It has just the right amount of padding and a slightly textured surface (worth keeping in mind if you plan to spend any time using it as a writing surface). While most computer mice will slide moderately well on it's surface, if want a low resistance mousing surface, you will likely want to use a (hard/soft) mouse pad of some sort on top of it.*Pros: -After removing it from shipping tube, it easily lays flat without curling (unlike many other products) -No chemical smell -Perfect thickness, comfortable for many hours of typing at a time -The slight surface texture keeps your palms from sticking to it (at least as much) while you rest your hands on it while typing -Cork backing keeps it in place on your desktop without sliding around -Sizing (31.5 x 15.7) is a perfect workspace (without covering the entire surface of your desk) -Surface tackiness is perfect to keep your keyboard in place while typing -Does not discolor after months of use (if you happen to choose a lighter color)*Cons: -If you accidentally write on it with pen, it can be a bit difficult to clean (if you happen to choose a lighter color)
