This thing looks great, looks like the other higher end bands of the same thing. However, the ring you tie the line to has a major design flaw. The ring gets wedged and stuck about 60% of the time stops this from functioning properly. Ended up tossing it and using one from Walmart that was much better. When this one works it works just like it should which is why I give it 2 stars instead of 1.

With 1/8 ounce of split shot placed about 2 feet up the line from this nice lure I was able to easily cast 50 - 60 feet and eventually land a few rainbow trout - and hook up a few more that self released. A slower return with an occasional gentle twitch seems to be the best action to encourage strikes. Watch those hooks, they are surgically sharp!

Used this and others of various colors to troll around east pond in Maine. Caught yellow perch, white perch, large mouth and small mouth bass, sunfish, grass pickerel, and even a trout on this lure.

Yo-Zuri is getting to be my go to lures. I mostly fish small mouth that the hatch is trout so these patterns are great.
