FLASHMINNOW 110 can be effectively worked over shallow as 2-3 feet flats using a jerking, twitching or sweeping retrieve. This super productive jerk bait is also ideal for working points and small coves.

I have many patterns of the 110, and use them frequently for in shore, relatively close type applications. they are weighted and do cast pretty well, but not like a Duo International type lure as they don't really have the same weight transfer system, then again, they don't COST as much either and on par, are probably just as effective in the 35 to 50 yard range.But, they are affordable, Japanese made and come in many advantageous patterns depending on what you're going after, and they are very strong. I took on a 35 pound stingray with one once and it held it's own, your knots, leader or line will probably give out before these do.Great inshore lure and a MUST have for any surf fisherman.

If you love catching halibut, then this is the lure you want in your tackle box. Quality and Appearance are top notch. It performs incredibly well under water!Great value for your money in terms of a lure that actually works!

This by far has been my favorite lure to use in the surf or on saltwater sloughs. I've caught multiple stripers and halibut with this lure in the SF bay area with it. I use a fast retrieve and if the fish are nearby they just hammer it. One time I caught 4 striped bass within a 40 minute span.

I recently bought this with the intent of using it for surf fishing. However, I haven't had the chance to do so yet. Instead, I've used this to fish off of jetties and rocks.The action is good but it is a bit on the lighter side, so distance casting can be a challenge using baitcasters. There are ways to modify this to increase the weight thus casting distance or you can use a spinning rod and reel for the same effect.Paint chips easily especially if targeting predatory fish that have small teeth. The treble hooks also tend to rub on the lure chipping the paint, too.So far, I've caught bonitos and mackerels. Can't wait to take this surf fishing and hopefully hook up a halibut!
