Small size fit my clock perfectly. Installed, put a battery in and it started up instantly and ran very quietly. Excellent product!

I purchased this item for a wall clock that is irreplaceable and you can't find this particular clock. It has more sentimental value than anything.

Small carriage clocks are the devil to find a conversion quartz movement for, or replacement conversion movement for, due to the space between the faceplate and the glass. This is the first quartz movement I've found that is actually appropriate. It's too soon to tell for hardiness, but it fits, and the client isn't too concerned about noise as long as it works. Otherwise, the carriage clock is just a heavy paperweight.Thank you, I'll likely be ordering more when I can.

Original timepiece ran accurately for more than 10 years. Bought this to repair clock. Had hoped to be one of the lucky ones, but alas......only ran 15 minutes after initial install with fresh battery. Attempted several restarts with, at best, a couple hours of good timekeeping. Tossed it. Not worth bother or expense.

Snapped it on, put in a battery and viola! Wife's heirloom is working again. The old one did a very loud click on each second this one is a silent, sweep movement, so it's also an upgrade.

I had a wood framed "Daniel Dakota" wall clock that stopped working. We liked the looks of it and I tried to find the maker of the clock mechanism to get an exact replacement. Though I found the website for it, none of the replacements listed had the same model number nor and specifications stated. Looking locally at other wall clocks, none seemed to have the appeal of our non-working one. I searched on Amazon for replacements and I found I had to purchase an inexpensive caliper to measure the different segments of the staff for the hands. The shaft had to be the right length to go through the clock face and still have enough room for the hands to circle and also not too long to touch the glass clock face cover. This particular unit was the closest to the non-working movement. It was just a smidge shorter but it did accept the old hands. So far it has worked flawlessly since being installed. Very satisfied.

Kept a non-working inexpensive clock hanging in my kitchen because I liked it. But I got tired of relying on electronics for the time. I rarely wear a watch and would have to go to the phone or computer or microwave etc to see the time. Finally started looking for a similar replacement clock and eventually stumbled on replacing the clock movement instead; something I never thought to do. All I could figure out was that I had a snap in quartz movement with a short white shaft. This one looked like it fit the bill. It was very easy to install. I just had a small problem ensuring that both the top and bottom were securely snapped in on my clock. The only downside is that I wasn't able to use my original hands, probably because the diameter of the shaft was slightly smaller than my original. But the movement came with 3 sets of hands and I've gotten used to the set I chose. They are actually quite attractive. When I say "chose", I really only had one choice because the sets of hands were different lengths depending on the size of your clock face. It included a shorter set, a medium set, and a longer set. My clock is about 10 inches but the face is only 7 or 8 inches. The shortest set of hands worked for me. I am very happy with the look and the clock is working perfectly. It inspired me to order a few more clocks of different types to place strategically around my house.Sorry. It actually came with 4 sets of hands so there are definitely some great choices of styles and sizes for different types of clocks and preferences.

This fit perfectly in my clock after the HD-1688 Sheng Bang mechanism failed. I was able to use the existing hands from the old mechanism to keep the same aesthetics. Now, let’s see if it keeps time

Easy to install and old hands fit perfectly. This is the snap-in model (12888) with a short shaft.

There is no way to attach this movement to my clock because the hole is too big On any videos I ahve seen there should be tightening washers to make this item stay attached to the clock. Please let me know how I can attach this itemthanksBetty Purcell
