Looks better than the original clock face. I bought this clock face to replace an antique wind-up chiming clock that had stopped working years ago. Since I couldn't find a clock repair shop, this clock face insert was the next-to-perfect alternative. I wanted something that had an antique looking face and fancy hour/minute hands. I wasn't sure if it would fit, but since it has the clips, it popped right in the opening. Runs on one AA battery. I just wish that it had chimes. The second photo shows the original clock face next to the clock. I am very satisfied with this purchase, plus it was delivered quickly.

There are many sizes of these clock faces, so I was (figuratively) holding my breath until this clockwork arrived. Not a problem. Its size is exactly as described, so it fit perfectly into the ceramic stand.It has been running for about 36 hours and has maintained perfect time. The brilliant gold color of the surround sets it off really nicely. All the numerals on the clock face are clear and easy to read. I like everything about this item -- including the price.

I had an old wooden mantal clock that stopped working. The clockworks in it were a plastic, battery powered clock. This new one is soooo much prettier than the old face. The measurements in the description were spot on, so it fits like a glove. Very easy to install, just popped right in. It looks so fancy! I can't believe I was able to upgrade the looks of my living room at such a low price.

It didn't quite fit in the clock I was replacing, the old clock radius was 4.5 inches, this one is 4.3, but the mount fit perfectly. I have only had it running for an hour or so, and is accurate so far. I guess only 'time' will tell. It looks great. It's stylish and seems as well built as the one I'm replacing, so fingers crossed that it lasts. Note: only the clock face and mechanism represents the product purchased and reviewed.

I bought this clock insert to repair a ceramic vintage clock statue. It fits perfectly. Clock insert is well made keeps accurate time and is audible when it ticks. My wife is very happy with the repair I made and I am happy as well as I really didn't have to do much modifications for it to fit in the clock hole of the statue.
