Stops working after a few months-too late to return for credit. Second hand seems to “stall” around the 8-10 O’clock area and then continues to move around the other side. looses time and then stops altogether. Didn’t work for me

Had a large clock that had stopped working and this movement was a simple and accurate fix. Only issues I had was figuring out how to remove the old part. Once I got it out replacing the new took less than 5 minutes. Time is back and this was a cheap fix for an old clock.

I got TIKROUND quartz movement replacement at $10 and it works great! Quiet & Accurate.The original part was made in Germany with the screw thread is embedded inside the unit around the stem that holds the clock arms while this product has the screw thread outside around the stem. So the length of the stem should be longer than the original one to fasten the nuts over the screw stem. Mine is shorter than ideal and the quartz movement unit is not firmly screwed onto the clock body. So when the clock body is moved to line up 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the center, the clock arms stay where they are instead of moving with the clock body so the time changes from what was set previously. But I decided to keep it to save the cost to their business because once the clock is centered, it doesn't need to be moved again.The original German clock arms are better looking but cannot be used w/o modification b/c the way of fixation is different. However, I would pick this one for a fraction of cost of the original part replacement sold in Amazon.

The mechanism works fine . I had to straighten the hands that were bent in flimsy shipping package. Price was ok but it would be better to charge a tiny bit more for a solid package instead of the ‘non protective envelope’.

This Youngtown movement was easy to install and so far (48 hours) it's keeping very accurate time.This is the second movement I ordered. I had to return the first one, from a different supplier, because although the shaft was the correct length, the diameter of the shafts was too big for the original minute and hour hands. This Youngtown came with its own hands. Of course I knew they'd fit but fortunately the original hands also fit so I was able to retain the style of the clock.If you're trying to replace a broken movement it's pretty difficult to compare sizes to determine which one will fit your clock because there are so many variables and you have to shuttle between different suppliers and carefully study their ads to find each measurement—they each post them in different places.Although I didn't buy from XYBHRC I liked their ad best because they make it easy to compare four different movements.

I purchased this to replace the hands and mechanism of a 45 yo wall clock. It is a perfect fit. The best of all is that the clock works again!

Not what we expected, hand come damaged and cant work! the movement mechanism has a hard time moving hands.
