I was a little surprised when it came in pieces. However, it easy to assemble, nice flexible leather, and it comes with additional accessories in case a screw gets lost. My husband likes it. I would purchase again.

THESE SWATTERS ARE WELL MADE AND NICE LOOKING, HOWEVER CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHEN USING ON GLASS SURFACES. THERE IS A METAL FASTENER THAT HOLDS THE LEATHER SWATTING PART TO THE HANDLE. IF YOU HIT THE WINDOW WITH IT, THERE IS A DANGER OF BREAKING THE GLASS. MY HUSBAND WILL NOY USE THESE SWATTERS. I DO USE THEM, BUT NOT ON ANYTHING THAT MIGHT BREAK. MAYBE IF THE LEATHER SWAT PART WAS GLUED TO THE HANDLE, PERHAPS THEY WOULD BE SAFER TO USE WHEN TRYING TO SWAT ON GLASS SURFACES, SORRY THESE DID NOT WORK, I REALLY WANTED THESE TO REPLACE MY UGLY PLASTIC SWATTERS. HAVE A BEAUTIFYL DAY, VICTORIA

Talk about overkill. 💣This thing is sturdy and your fly problem is toast. So smack away. The leather swatter attachment is super thick and it along with the wooden handle will outlast the typical flimsy flyswatter. Note: you will have to assemble, but that just took a moment.

It does its job, kills flies, feels cheap and seems like it might not be very durable. 4 stars for now but if it breaks I'll be updating my review, can't complain as of now though.

The look is very elegant and much nicer than the traditional plastic ones. The wood handle is very comfortable and the leather is thick enough and a pretty brown colour. It looks just as pictured. I ordered two, one for home and one for the trailer. I would definitely recommend.

I have had a few months now and if your like me an have been plagued with flys, this is the fly swat. I assumed it was leather and use mink oil on it twice before use, then again a few more times seemed to soak it up. It was really pliable after that. I have killed hundreds of flys and still in awesome shape. It has been stained from the carnage though, I use saddle soap to clean every now and again. Then reapply the mink oil, by far it’s the best fly swatter I have ever owned. You have to tighten the Allen screws every now again but who’s complaining, beat buying a cheap fly swat every week. I forgot to say take the fly swat stick and rack the sharp edges where it com3s in contact with the leather across concrete or sand paper.

Works like a gem, the nice wide pad is easy to swatand I love that it’s not an eyesore in the house. Easy to wipe the leather clean of guts

This is WAY more attractive than those $1 swatters. Those handles always bend and the plastic always breaks quickly. But this swatter will last me a looooong time. Handle is very sturdy. The only problem I have is that the brown leather stains with guts. If I could go back I’d try a black one to limit visible staining. Aside from that this looks way more attractive hanging in my kitchen.

For years, I would buy the plastic fly swatter from the store. They'd last a week or two at the most, before the plastic part came off of the painted metal handle or the plastic handle. "I guess I only spent $1, so... We didn't lose much." I'd not buy another one that whole season, but would the next. Wash, rinse, repeat. Then a few years ago, I decided I wasn't wasting even that money and putting plastic toxic crap in our house. Then I found these wood and leather fly swatters. At the time, it was $15 for a 2 pack. I bought these last summer (end of June) and haven't had any issues with them. They seem to be better at surprising the flies than the toxic plastic swatters, too. We certainly kill more in a week than with the others! We didn't need these really, beyond September, last year. But the flies have been TERRIBLE this year, so these were pulled out back in April. We have definitely gotten our monies worth out of them, and they are still going strong!
