These are so great. Love the telescoping option - let’s face it, some flying crawling critters you want to keep your distance from as much as possible, even while trying to send them to their eternal rest. But using it condensed down helps with better aim up close with more direct force.Feels like they are constructed well.Glad we purchased.

A sturdy fly swatter. It could use a way to hand it when not in use on a nail or hook.It is portable, sturdy and has a wide swatting area to get those pests.

The spotted lanternflies have returned, so I needed some good swatters to take them down. I already prepared myself earlier with these retractable swatters with wider heads that I bought at Gabe's last year, but as I should've suspected they were cheaply made and broke easily...of course I've been swatting those bugs on trees but still they should be better quality. Luckily I found some on Amazon that are better quality! These swatters are retractable just like my previous ones so you can smash flies (or lanternflies) from long distances. They're very sturdy at first, but after a while they loosened a bit, but so far they haven't fallen apart yet after a couple weeks so that's a good thing. The heads are smaller that the previous ones, pretty much normal size of any other swatter, but so far they're very durable even after swatting on hard tree bark for days. So yeah these are really good fly swatters, they're durable, sturdy, and last longer than normal swatters! Definitely recommended for your bug problems.

Easy to store, easy to lengthen. Made of metal makes it solid and dependable for swatting insects. The only downside is it will turn the swatter making it not 100% dependable on where you're aiming it at.

To be honest, when I got these swatters, I thought they seemed flimsy and that they would break after one use. I was pleasantly surprised when this didn't happen. Since purchasing them, I have easily killed 20+ flying bugs batting almost 1.000. Highly recommended.

These are really solid swatters. The telescoping feature is also very nice. But while I don't expect these will ever fall apart, that sturdiness gets in the way of them working as efficiently as they could. There is so little flexibility in the part which does the 'swatting' that it often doesn't make a very strong connection with the surface being struck. A good swatter should connect with at least 80% of the flat part, but I feel like this is never connecting with much more than half of the flat part. As a result, the little buggers don't always meet their doom. If you really put your back into it, I suppose you could do a lot better than I've been able to, but I'm afraid if I hit the surfaces where the flies are with any more strength, I could do some damage to the surface.

I bought these fly swatter to replace a very old plastic one that had seen its better days. They work great for getting small pieces of food out from under the stove. The handle telescopes out for reaching those small bits that roll under the stove and the handle pushes in for easy storage. The only thing missing is the hole in the handle to hang on the wall but the fact the telescoping handle makes up for that little inconvenience.

These are great. Needed some for awhile, finally just went on amazon to have them deliver some. They work great, and I like you can make the handle shorter to store them when not in use. We tend to get batches of house fly infestations when we bring home organic fruit sometimes and leave it uncovered in the kitchen, especially bananas from the local grocery store. For some reason those flies entirely ignore the glue tape traps that my dad successfully used when I was a kid. But they cannot escape these.
