This is a review for YOTO Fishing Slip Bobber Float Kit,Balsa Slip Corks and 60pcs Bobber Stops for Crappie Panfish Trout Bass FishingI needed some slip bobbers, and figured that I would try these out when I saw them.First off, I am honestly not sure what I think of these bobbers. They are well made, and look pretty good. They are a curious design, and I like how they look. However, when using them, I am not sure if I need to be using more weight on the split shot, as they float on their side, instead of vertical like other bobbers I have used. I could add more weight to make them bob vertical like other bobbers I have used, but that will affect how the bait swims. As it is right now, they lay on their side in the water, and then pop upwards and then down into the water when a fish takes your bait. I think it's a neat presentation, but I am not sure if it is supposed to be that way.I'll keep using them for now, but I am unsure whether or not I will buy more when these need to be replaced.Edit: I asked a friend of mine who is a lot older, and says these are supposed to lay on their side. I had just never seen ones like this before. I do like how unique they are.

As an avid angler who has tried a variety of fishing gear over the years, I was excited to receive the **YOTO Fishing Slip Bobber Float Kit** through the Vine program. My first impression when unboxing this kit was highly positive—the set feels thoughtfully designed, durable, and well-suited for a wide range of fishing conditions. After putting these bobbers to the test, I can confidently say they have improved my fishing experience in multiple ways.### Superior Design and QualityThe **balsa wood slip bobbers** included in the kit immediately stood out to me. The craftsmanship is top-notch, with smooth finishes and bright, easy-to-spot colors that make tracking the bobber on the water a breeze. The balsa construction ensures they are lightweight yet incredibly buoyant, which is exactly what you want in a fishing float. Additionally, the kit comes with **60 bobber stops**, which are critical in setting the depth accurately—an extremely handy addition that gives this kit great value.### Improved Hookup Rates and PrecisionOne of the aspects that excited me most about these bobbers was their responsiveness. Whether I was fishing for crappie, panfish, trout, or bass, I noticed an immediate improvement in my hookup rates. These floats make it much easier to detect bites, even the subtle ones, which significantly reduces the number of 'swings and misses' compared to my old bobbers. I found that setting the hook became a lot more intuitive with these slip floats, which was a game-changer for me.The smooth slip mechanism allows for easy depth adjustments, making these versatile for different fishing environments like rivers, lakes, or ponds. The bobbers slide easily on the line without getting snagged or stuck, which makes setup and re-adjustments hassle-free.### Easy to Use for All Skill LevelsWhether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, this kit is user-friendly. The bobber stops were simple to install and held their position well without slipping during casts or retrieves—a big plus for hassle-free fishing. This ease of use ensures that even novice fishermen (or fisherwomen) can benefit from the design.### Final ThoughtsPure and simple, these YOTO bobbers are some of the **best response bobbers** I’ve ever used. Since trying them, I now use them exclusively for all my fishing trips. They’ve truly elevated my fishing game by giving me the confidence to detect bites more accurately and, ultimately, catch more fish. The kit is fantastic value for the price, with plenty of bobber stops included so I don’t anticipate running out anytime soon.If you’re looking for reliable, high-performing slip bobbers that’ll make fishing more enjoyable and effective, the YOTO Fishing Slip Bobber Float Kit is an excellent choice. I can’t recommend it enough!

These are nice slip bobbers, nice finish and they appear well made. They have what is for me at least an unusual feature, a swelling at the top, which I assume acts as a strike indicator or flag. The also have a side entry for the line to slip through, off center. I'm used to threading the line trough the end of a short top tube. I'll be interested to see how these work out when the ice clears up here where I live. I'll update the review, then. The floats are marked as 10 gram, but actually all five totaled 33 grams which makes them actually 6.6 grams avg. ea. That's not a problem for me, lighter is better in a float, I think.Probably I would have preferred that the bottom be painted white, rather than black, because I believe a float is less visible to a fish when they are looking upwards at it against the bright sky. Black would be better for night fishing -- maybe these are especially good for that since they have the bright orange strike indicator as well. Interesting. These 10G 7-1/2" floats are large for panfish, in my opinion. But if they are schooled in deeper water, or for trout in lakes in summer, I think they'll be alright. Not for casting into bedding bream in the shallows however. The smaller the float there, the better. Two types of stops are provided -- the usual thread and bead types, and a wire and bead type that I've never tried before. I'm looking forward to trying those out, again, when the ice leaves. All around I'm impressed with the quality, and the completeness of what's provided. I am curious about the new (to me) features and look forward to testing further during fishing season.Update: 1/27/2025: I just noticed that there seems to be some confusion about weights for these bobbers. I had actually ordered what was described as 1/10 oz bobbers but received 10 gram (marked) bobbers, and even then, weighing them, they were actually 6.6 grams each. 1/10 oz = ~ 3 grams, which would have been smaller and better for panfish, and my preference,
