I have bought router bits before, but they have not lasted. Probably due to the fact I am conservative with my money. I have payed a little more but it has been worth it. They case they come in is great, good not having to chase the bit all over, also the peace of mind that they come with a lifetime warranty is great. That means fair wear tear, if I can say Common Sense.

商品は箱入りで発泡スチロールに入っていて箱にはビットの切断面が描かれていわかり易いです。何本か使ってみましたが、焼けたりしていないし切れ味も申し分ないです。このメーカーはビットに回転数が書いてあって親切です。問題は配送てすね。12月初めに頼んで、12月22に到着予定になっていて12月21に配送完了になったが商品は届いてない到着がアメリカの何とか州になっていてそこからフェデリックで配送になっていて、フェデリックでメールサービス登録した所、家は横浜だが藤沢に到着完了のメール12月28結局到着は1月4日で佐川で配達されました。問題は到着が表示より遅れるというのとアマゾンで到着予定日前に早々に配達完了になる所が問題ですね。商品はいいものだが配送で星-1しました

Yonico makes good bits. I have purchased other Yonico products and had good experience. This is not the cheapest set but it is worth a little extra for the quality. This is still an economically priced product in comparison with "professional" brands.I think there is great misconception about what "professional" quality should be. I have yet to see a professional who always buys the most expensive tool available. It is exactly opposite: most professionals rarely invest into high priced tools and look for tools that are good enough for the job.I bought this set, like most, not because I will use every bit all the time, but to have necessary bit on-hand when I need it. The set of this variety it is definitely a better deal with about $2-$3 per bit than trying to purchase individual bits that I need or several smaller sets. And, who knows, which bit I may need next month or next year.Every bit in the set is perfectly ground with no chips or deformed profiles. Cutting surfaces are clean and smooth. Al bearings are in good order by visual inspection. I had one bit that was a "double" instead of the bit that should've been in the set. The vendor sent me the correct bit right away and free of any charges. This is important to know that vendor supports their product.The packaging is outstanding. The wooden case is packed inside Styrofoam and then inside factory cardboard box - with Amazon packaging box over the factory box. Guaranteed to arrive undamaged.The factory box has a poster on the back. It shows, for every bit in the set, the bit description and size. I plan to cut and save this back panel for the future reference.Wooden box has keyholes in the back so the case can be hanged on the wall. That is what I plan to do, possibly will make a similar box for my other bits.I can and highly recommend this item to anyone who is looking to buy a big set of router bits.

Nice set, plenty of sizes of router bits, I have a few other sets, but this is a very good box. Case quality is good, illustrations of router bit shape a final cut are good in the bit mounting positions in the box. Has spare Allen keys for the bearing guides. I would of like some additional jointing cutters also, mitres and finger cutters, and would of paid more to have these in this product, as it would of been a full complement then. But an excellent range as is.

I am not a professional woodworker, but I like to have a variety of bits on hand for the occasional use. I ran the math of buying expensive brand bits, but just starting out using a router table, it was hard to know what bits to buy.So if you buy a few sets with just 5 pieces in each for the most common profiles even from the same company, you end up spending almost the same for 25 bits, as for this complete set. And for the money now you have more than 40 free ones. Some may look like duplicates, but there are bottom clearing bits and dado bits with same dimensions, and upon closer inspection they look different.The packaging has improved over the years based on previous reviews. The bits are tight in their location, maybe the 1/2 inch shank size has something to do with that. The labeling is slightly off for some of the bigger bits. I unscrewed the latch and reversed it to be more in line with what I like. All their wooden boxes have the latches upside down at least to what I am used to. No biggie and only takes a minute to change. None of that has any effect on the quality of the cutters.The only issue I have had with their bits is the quality control on their bearings. out of the 70 pieces I had about 5 bearing that were either loose and sloppy or felt like there was dirt in them. The customer service is outstanding, and is pleasure to deal with. If I were them, it would be advantageous if they just threw in some spare 1/2 inch bearings, the most commonly used ones in this set and this would avoid the hassle and extra expense on their part to send you replacements.Out of the whole set I used about 10 router bits so far and all of them worked flawless. I guess the standard test is to see how they cut a hardwood like oak. I used a round edge bit to cut 16 ft of oak trim with no noticeable dulling of the cutter.This set is a clear value leader, the 50 bit set in comparison leaves out a few uncommon cutters, so it is personal preference to save some money and get 20 less router bits. I am sure it will be easier to lift than this box.

After purchasing the 100-piece 1/4" shank router bit set (Amazon ID# B0130Q001Y), I realized I needed more than a few 1/2" shank bits and this set seemed like a good value. And for the bits, they're an amazing value -- All the bearings (and there are quite a few of them) are smooth with no play, the edges so far seem great and my test cuts have been smooth. $2 per bit seems too good to be true, but there it is...The problem -- and the reason I'm not giving this 5 stars -- is the case. First, let me say this is a beautiful maple case with nice routed box joints, and finished with polyurethane, which is a very nice surprise for a set of "cost effective" bits from China. The latches are fine, but the hinges are something you'd expect on something four times smaller -- and completely worthless to the application. When the bits arrived, there was some rattling around in the box and I inwardly groaned, and upon opening I found the top completely separated from the bottom, with a complete tearout on the bottom hinge. The cause of this is the way it was packed, with a foam insert along with an annealed plastic form over that, which will not allow the case to fully close and when forced, rips off the tiny little hinges.So I went to Lowe's, purchased a 12" brass hinge, placed four dimes under the top corners for clearance and installed it -- problem with the case solved!
