A great way to make joints of variable angles from the same tool setup. This type of joint is called a canoe joint because of the flexibility needed for a variety of angles when constructing a canoe. Every slat on a canoe joins its neighbouring slat at a slightly different angle, and this router bits set allows this without a different setup for each joint. Always cut the male side of the joint at full depth. The cutting depth of the female side will determine how much angle is achievable in the joint.

Came sharp and cut ok. Am using to make roll doors for bread cabinet. So far have worked fine. Tight fit to keep the vermin out. lol Plan to use for making roll up doors for shop storage cabinets. If I get real ambitous may try a canoe.

I am only using this on soft wood, but I haven't had to ease it in, just take it all in one pass. They look cheap, but they cut well so far, and the joint is solid and tight. Just have to adjust the amount of depth of cut on the male bit in order to adjust angle, but doing so makes the joint a little weaker. If you are messing with soft wood I would recommend these.
