I've been using Whiteside router bits for thirty years and never had the slightest problem with any of them them -- some used very heavily. I've used others, of course, some good, some not so good, but I automatically buy Whiteside if I can get them.This rabbeting bit was as represented, in good condition in original packaging when received.

Typical whiteside quality. This thing flushes up my rocker patterns with almost no further work. Having this makes my woodworking hobby a ton easier.

Awesome bit. Used it to cut some maloof joints. The joint mated perfectly with a 3/4" roundover bit on the female piece.
