We were out town for an extended time and our basement refrigerator/freezer quit… the freezer was full! The whole house smelled when we got home. I bought this kit plus 2 more sensors. We are out of town again and the garage freezer started getting too warm… above 32° F! The sensor and app warned me. My kids emptied it today! Saved us all that lost food and a stinky garage!!!!

So happy with this purchase. Our Sulcata tortoise lives out in his insulated dog house all winter and we have to keep him at 70 degrees. I now get alerts if his box dips below 60 degrees. Its awesome as it connects right to the base that plugs into your WIFI. The receiver has a built in Bluetooth that connects to the base. I downloaded the app, and can see what the temp in his box from anywhere.Totally worth the money. Super easy set up. I might buy another receiver for our dog kennel in the garage!

I use this item to monitor the temperature in my chicken coop. I've integrated it with Home Assistant and it is very reliable using the app or otherwise. I would recommend this product.

I have a few of these scattered around both inside the house and outside in my generator shed, on the deck, etc. They work really well and the range is unbeatable.

I've got lots of YoLink devices, including the water leak sensors, automatic water shut off, a temperature sensor for my pool, infrared remote controller, and more. The hardware and software is really good. Yes, you may think "why should I pay this much for a temperature sensor?" I learned the hard way. I wasted a lot of money on Govee ones with the worst battery life ever. Yes, I saved on the price up front but I have to replace the batteries every 2 or 3 months. And those ones aren't even connected to the internet! Instead, with YoLink, the batteries last for years and the devices are connected to the internet. If you want alerts for a specific temperature threshold you can do that easily, and no matter where in the world you are, as long as your phone has a signal, you'll get an alert. Great products and are priced fairly for what you get.In this picture you'll see the waterproof temp and humidity sensor. I have it hanging up in a spot outside my house, that doesn't get direct sun, or rain. The YoLink hub is necessary but you only need one of those for all your devices. That's the secret sauce and why the signal range is so good and the batteries last a long time, as they use "LoRa" protocol.

The YoLink Temperature & Humidity sensor has really met my needs well, allowing me to monitor temperature outside and in my greenhouse. Their app does a great job displaying current and historical data. And so far I've been pleased by the support from the company. When I first set up my greenhouse, I got a Meross sensor because I've liked other Meross products, but very quickly I had issues with the sensor disconnecting from the base unit, so I ended up returning it. I wanted a product that was reliable, but one that didn't cost a hundred bucks. I hadn't heard about YoLink and wasn't sure about the brand, but it seemed like a decent choice. Having got this initial base/sensor package, I've found it very reliable and have expanded the number of sensors reporting back. In my opinion the long battery life of AA batteries is better that a solar/non-replaceable battery other brands use. I will likely buy other YoLink products in the future.

Good temperature range which is important in Phoenix. I'm somewhat disappointed in the accuracy. After measuring it against a calibrate thermometer, I find it is only accurate to + or - 5 degrees. But it is still good for relative temperature and will track a trend good enough for my use. The hub is very easy to set up and they have good customer support

I have a kitchen cabinet that is attached to an outside wall. This cabinet displayed some very cold temperatures and some frost on the interior during a recent cold snap (-38 DegC). I purchased this device to monitor temperature and humidity in that cabinet.I did some repairs to the local insulation and have not seen any frost but still interested in conditions in that area. Lots of winter left! The first device was reading way out on the humidity. Yolink customer service provided some steps to correct and after hearing the device was still off base, they sent me a replacement that arrived within two business days. The second device reads much closer on the humidity. I would recommend Yolink for anyone needing this type of device. Customer service is 5 star PLUS.GordK

The tracking ability graph is so nice. Not having to replace batteries for so long is very handy. But really liking the ability to just ask Alexa the current temperature. At first didn't like the price, but now am very happy I purchased, definitely worth it. So useful.

This unit works well and gives me the accurate temperature history I need from the app. However, after several months it went "offline" (and stayed offline) for no good reason. This was "fixed" by going to the visit the unit in our well house and pushing the "set" button on the back until its LED flashed green. This is a software bug.

I bought a hub and 2 sensors to monitor the temp in a fridge and freezer. One of the sensors was defective upon arrival. I reached out to the customer support and they offered a replacement right away. Now the sensors are in the appliances and I get a text message if the temperature is out of the target range I set for each sensor. I'm impressed with the signal strength. It doesn't seem to be affected by the metal frame of the appliances and the sensors could even connect to the hub located on the floor above in a concrete building! So far I'm pleased.
