We've used this product for YEARS. It finally died and we had to replace it. We sleep with it turned on every night and couldn't live without it. We even take it with us when traveling. If you sleep with a snorer or have extraneous noises in your home, this will drown them out with loud or soft white noise - your choice. Definitely worth it!

Love the sound. Surprisingly, you can twist it to make it sound louder. It works great for us. I think it also helps our dog sleep better.

The product I received is unusable in India because it’s 120V.

I own two of these. The design is simple. Turn the top of the device and as it twists the volume adjusts as the air flowing through is restricted or enhanced. The functionality of this product is certainly there. It only has two settings. This version does not have a battery but rather has a standard power cord. The cord length is generous allowing one to place this deep into a hallway to shield an office or private area from unwanted noise. The cord is also thin enough that you can close a door on it if you need to. One can run one of these for sleep enhancement or to drown out sounds in the background that may impact a remote worker’s online meetings. This is a more expensive solution that using an app on your phone as a sound machine, but it is much louder and more versatile - and you don’t have to give up your phone for the task.I have one of these running outside an office and the other running inside a baby’s nursery. In both cases, the product has never failed and I expect will continue to operate for years to come.

I’ve been buying these for years, I think maybe 4 in total. I like that they really have the fan sound, it seems like the electronic ones always sound a bit off.It has the option to turn some pieces to change the sound a bit to your liking, I always just set them to the loudest lowest pitch, but I imagine there are people who like something else. Now I said I’ve bought at least 4 over like 10 or more years. The first one I bought lasted 5+ years of nightly use before it started sounding funny and I replaced it. Two others are in my kids rooms. The first one had the smoothest most consistent sound, all 3 after that have some “wobbliness” to the sound right out of the box. I find the newer ones slightly annoying, but not enough to really matter, after running for a bit they seem to steady out enough. The plastic material has gotten more plasticy feeling over the years, I don’t think it affects usage.

Works great for sleep and drowning out annoying unwanted noises outside my room.I use it during the day to muffle noises from others in my house, and I turn it up louder at night to sleep better with. It serves as a replacement for a very old dehumidifier I was using as a white noise machine. I’m a very light sleeper and can hear everything, and this helps to muffle music from a sibling’s room and some talking. Just don’t expect it to miraculously muffle out every loud sound.I love that there are two switches for different volumes (I usually use the upper switch), as well as the ability to twist the outer chassis and the top panel to increase or decrease volume of the fan as precise as you’d like. There’s no obnoxious looping digital noise as it’s an actual white noise fan. Highly recommend it! I would not be a happy guy or be able to sleep without it.

I did not expect this white noise machine to make such an improvement to my life and I wish I had gotten it sooner.Sleep Troubles Due to KittensBackground: I had a white noise machine 4 years ago to help with a loud bird in the tree outside and it didn't help in the past and I threw it out. I didn't think it would help so much this time.In August I got two kittens, and unfortunately one of them snores. The other wakes me up at dawn. I spent so much time and energy into getting black out curtains (double layered!), ear plugs, ear muffs, sleeping earlier, wearing myself out exercising, melatonin, magnesium, calming supplements etc. I had tried out 7 different types of ear plugs and went to urgent care for an ear infection as well, so ear plugs are not always the answer! Exasperated at 4am I decided to look into pet snoring and pet snore. Earplugs I have already tried. Some people suggested a raised pet bed to lift their head. Others this specific brand of white noise machine. I ordered both. The little snorer was afraid of the pet beds and insisted on sleeping with me. If I lock her out, she will meow at the door all night. So the pet beds didn't help. Then the white noise machine came in and for the first time in a month I slept through the night! I didn't think it would help that much!Other than fear of it not working, I also resisted a white noise machine because I was afraid of hearing loss. After the first night of sleeping well I knew I wanted to use this every night. I bought a decibel reader and assuaged my fears that it would cause hearing damage because it wouldn't. It is well within the safety zone of 40 to 50 decibels near my pillow where I sleep. I keep the machine 3 feet away at the foot of my bed. Even on the loudest setting, it is still within safety levels near my head. It is already effective on the lowest setting, which I use every night. It drowns out the kitten snores, which were high pitched and woke me up every time before this. And if I kept the kittens out of my bedroom, the machine drowns out their meowing too, and i sleep through it or fall back asleep quickly! I wanted to share my results in case anyone else was afraid of hearing loss too.In the past week, I have been energized and focused. I socialized more. I attended all my classes with enthusiasm and optimism. I crushed my personal bests at the gym. I haven't craved junk food anymore due to sleeping enough and cut my caffeine significantly. I feel like I have gained 3 or 4 more hours in the day due to my excess energy. I wish I had gotten this sooner!

I have tried so many white noise machines and none of them worked. So I was really nervous about getting this one. I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube about the Yogasleep Dohm and still wasn't convinced. So I took a chance and bought it. This is much different than other sound machines because most of them are just electric sound devices with different sounds like water, white noise, or fire crackling. This machine is just a small fan inside of a plastic dome, and the difference is because it's air movement, which is a more natural sound. If you're used to using fans for white noise, then grab this instead of the other sound machines. I'm very happy with this purchase.
