If you know you know. It is loud but with the two speeds it will go softer. You need the two speed one if you desire a lower volume. This physically makes vibrations and is much better than the ones that only have a speaker.

What a product blocks all the noise for the most part in sleeping pattern has increased immensely, second one I bought I recommend this you won’t go wrong

This white noise noise canceler which was touted to me as not just a white noise relaxation machine but also a noise scrambler. It was suggested to me to help cancel out noise from my room/office and from the exterior of the room due to times when working at home. We have very thin walls. I was skeptical but it is hands down one of the best investments i've made. It cuts noise on both levels inside and out, though some noise is still able to be heard. I also use it to sleep at night and it has helped with restful sleep.I'm basically running it 24/7 and it does not get annoying. It even helps make it so my television is not heard as much outside my room aka scrambling noise. Hands down one of the best purchases I've made.I was told this has been around for many years and was invented in 1962. I will purchase this again if it ever needs to be replaced.

I can't do without this machine. I had the same machine for 10 years. It finally gave up and rushed to get a replacement. It creates the perfect hum to help me sleep soundly all night.

Highly recommended. This is my second Dohm. My first one was purchased back in 2017 is still working fine. I use it nightly. This new version has even better sound. Even though I got it for an abnb, I will most likely swap them.

Wanted to replace a small fan I'd been using. This is great. No fancy light or sounds, just a simple fan with 2 speeds and an adjustment to increase or decrease the sound level. It's perfect for what I wanted.

it's white noise but not electronic, there are little fans in there, you can adjust how loud it is, I had an air cleaner before (to block the noise) and it was way too loud, this thing covers your environment with peace, and for those of us with tinnitus (like me) this devices is wonderful.

My daughter and I recently moved into a condo and she complained about hearing noises from next door. A friend suggested this sound machine may help to block unwanted sounds and it does. My daughter also said it helps her to sleep.

If you like the sound of an actual fan, then you will likely prefer this to sleep apps. It's also just a little fuller of a sound, it seems to fill the space a little bit more. Not 100% necessity or life-changing for me, but still nice and soothing.I like it on the lowest setting. There is no rattling or whining at any setting.I wish it would encase me in a noise canceling bubble like my headphones, but sadly physics doesn't work like that. This is the next best thing.

This sound machine is the best thing I have ever purchased. I need to hear a specific type of noise to be able to sleep and this one is perfect!!! It sounds like a hairdryer for reference but not quite as loud. It is amazing. Cant say enough good things. Easy and straight forward to use, cute, blends in on my night stand. Awesome. When I have kids I will buy them one too.

This models had been on my radar for a few years but until recently only an old version was available to us Aussies.Nothing beats the mechanically created white noise by this machine! It is far superior to electronically created sounds or "nature" sounds from apps. This is especially suitable for people who want a minimalist bedroom setup, without phones or other gadgets. The delivery was fast and the item arrived just as described. Love the colour!

Our little geriatric dog barks during the wee hours of the night, starting anywhere from 2:00 to 4:00 a.m. She doesn't have to go out (there is a pee-pad in her pen anyway) and never had any apparent issues when I would check on her. Our vet said at 14 years old, her issue is a cognitive one so she really can't help herself.The only location we can put her pen is in the utility room which is directly under our bedroom. We have tried a multitude of remedies since she started this habit in November 2017, including an indoor bark deterrent gadget, doggie Xanax from the vet to calm her, doggie melatonin, lots of daily exercise, etc. ~ none of which worked for her. We tried soft ear plugs for us, as well as white noise apps on my iPhone. We were experiencing the sleep deprivation of having a newborn baby in the house; not something that works for us at 60 years old...been there, done that!Our daughter bought this exact white noise machine so our 2 year old granddaughter doesn't wake up when their two dogs bark. It works well, and she highly recommended it.The design is simple and fits nicely into our decor; it's hardly noticeable. Unlike many products today, the electric cord is nice and long, which allows the machine to reach a wider variety of locations. The volume and sound intensity are both easily adjustable; we played with it until we found the perfect setting ~ just enough to cover the barking, but not too loud as to be obtrusive. My husband is a light sleeper so he can't have it too loud. Ever since we received this, we don't wake up when our little-old-lady dog starts barking. We found the perfect setting for both of us to enjoy a deep sleep, the benefits of which we definitely feel in the morning. It's been saving our sleep and sanity!
