The slots for mounting could be better and it needs more settings to have the backlighting stay on.

Summary: The best "sauna" thermometer/hygrometer tested to date. However, nothing covers the needles, so there is some concern about durability, as anything that makes contact with this device could cause irreparable damage.Testing: The unit was placed in a 40F refrigerator, and it only took 30 minutes to register 40F and 40% humidity, which are both spot on. Next, the device was placed in a hot garage, and it only took 5 minutes for the display to change from 40F to 80F, that's an increase of 40 degrees in only 5 minutes...a world record!! The humidity went from 50% to 35% in 5 minutes, also a world record!! At 15 minutes, the displayed temperature and humidity increased to 90F and 20% respectively. These are the best stats for any device claiming to be a "sauna" thermometer/hygrometer to date.Conclusion: Timely temperature and humidity data is crucial to safe sauna sessions. I recommend having at least two devices in the sauna at all times, just in case one device fails, to lessen the chance of a sauna accident. Apart from its fragility, this device is outstanding because it provides the best data of any device tested thus far!!

This looks kinda cool. LED lights and all. But, looking cool does not get the job done. There are no tick marks between the numbers to indicate the temperature or humidity. No accuracy. You are really guessing. And the hygrometer readings seem way off.

This mounts pretty easily to a wall or the base will sit nicely on any flat surface.The design is contemporary with plexiglass and light brown wood.A USB rechargeable battery operates an attention getting light that is attractive.The battery takes 5 hours to charge and operates the light for 6 hours. I would assume the light is for temporary use based on battery charge/life cycle.The hands are exposed and I would expect something to break if they were rotated very far by hand. It probably needs to stay out of reach or children.The readout lacks some graduation. For example, the numbers for temperature go from 50 to 70. That is a fairly large range left to interpolate.This temperature/humidity meter could find use in a number of places. I use it in an area where I keep plants for the winter.
