Started out ok but lots of air gets out the back and sides as they are not bolted down great. My replacement filter did not fit properly and to get that replaced is a whole hassle in and of itself. I'm going to try another filter at full price and maybe update this later but I would suggest another brand at this time.

Not easy to screw the screws back in as they are in an awkward place. The fan is very unstable and when turned on, hits something on the inside. It is incredibly loud and the entire thing shakes.

i grabbed a light cloth to see the airflow and in the middle area barley any air is coming out there is also a airleak in one of the corners

Poor quality fan in this unit. Works ok on the 2 lowest settings. The fastest setting makes the fan shake and the entire unit rattles and shakes. Not put together very well. Would never buy another one of these units

Hepa Filter is broken at the bottom line. Cause huge Air leak !!!!!Had this fan filter unit shipped down to Belize. Big lost . cannot return to The seller.

What I liked:Arrived quickly! Price was good. (These go for about $350-$400 on aliexpress but they are for 220v and this one is for 110.)What I did not like:Items feels like a Chines repurposed device with close to no instruction/contact/information. The placement of the handles makes no sense to me. It was missing some trivets. The size of the filter is 21” X 21” not 22” X 22”.There is free returns and I have some time to decide what I will do.

Latches where not positioned properly causing some serious damages to not only the securing lip of the hepa but it cracked/split the side wall of the hepa!? Completely forgot to package the power cord so even if this was a perfect condition unit I wouldn't be able to use it! Quite bummed out as I patiently await for the customer service team to reply back to me! You would think for a $600 product there would be some solid quality control!?

No dings and the filter was in perfect shape. It is missing a rivet but no biggie. Kinda speaks about the quality control. Which is a little concerning. But mine has worked for a few weeks. I taped a prefilter on the back. I Tested the filter and flow and everything is in order. If you set it on a bench it leans slightly backwards due to the clips. That will cause the fan blade to rattle(this unit is designed to hang from the ceiling remember). I will build a stand at some point, but for now I have it propped up and the rattle is gone. I was going to do 4 stars due to the minor things. It’s not the Mercedes of FFUs, But for $500, it’s a great deal worth 5 stars.

Unit arrived damaged. Functional but missing about 8 rivets. A little air leaks before the filter but it seems to be working for pouring petri dishes

Update:Customer service is top notch. They responded very quickly and handled all my concerns and gave me the option for refund or shipping out a new unit at no extra cost. I chose the latter and got my new unit in two days and this one is free of any flaws and in perfect working condition. I've got an extra filter from the broken unit when I need a replacement.Since most flow hoods are made from wood or other materials they're usually more pricey and this one is made from aluminum but decently put together. If you get this you'll have to open it up by taking the filter off as they have more foam and the cord inside and be careful because there are sharp edges. After setting it up it works great and I'm satisfied with the service provided and the fast turn around.Old Review:After receiving my Flow Hood I noticed a big dent in the frame where the weather stripping foam is sealing off the filter. This creates a huge leak in the unit and little to no air coming out of the filter. On top of that the fan seems to be rubbing against something making it very loud and not spinning freely. The packaging was great but I'm disappointed that the product was still damaged, possibly packaged that way. I've contacted customer service and I'm waiting for a response to either get a replacement or my money refunded and I will leave this as a 1 star review until the issue is resolved. Before buying this I read the reviews on here and see that a few people had this problem and basically took a chance on this unit and as it seems it did not pay off.
