Update: it is now cutting out every time we attempt to play. But something else. I have a N64 and wanted to connect to my Samsung TV. While it does work, I have had a couple connective issues. I've tried to fix everything else and even tried connecting my N64 with a different TV and had no problems, because I was able to directly connect my N64 to it. So, if I were you, I'd try another product before attempting this one. My N64 sometimes cuts out and gets me a blue screen while playing.

Came in solid packaging with all the cables and worked immediately with my Nintendo 64. It's not an upscaler, but the resolution exactly what you would expect from a retro console. If you are looking for something to plug and play with retro consoles, this is it.

The product came on time and I never had any problems and the tv picture is really good and it's money well spent and easy to setup and great cable quality and power source never over heats

I bought this for the reburished NS64 I got my husband for Christmas. After a month, it is still working very well on both our smaller tv and 48" tv. If it holds up, it's worth the price.

Blue screen. Unplugged and reconnected every port for 3 days, and nothing. Took 3 weeks to be able to return, in the end seller did not collect, but Amazon provided a refund.

Sound works for Mario Kart, but I can't see anything. Perfect Dark worked perfect however! Because there is clearly issues with some games, as much as it is handy, I have to give 3 stars.Edit: After checking again, it seems I was using a PAL game when I should have been using NTSC. After I used the correct one, the game worked as expected. Keep this in mind!

Works great. The USB cord could have been a bit longer to where it attaches to the USB port in the back of the tv.

The product is fantastic; it is an answer to a problem I have been having for a few years. My new LG 4k does not like my older games, notably my SNES and N64, using the av cables. I do not play the SNES as much, since most have been brought back to the Nintendo Switch. However, I have been playing my N64, especially Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2. During transitions from battles, the screen would go black and I would have to switch to HDMI 1 and then back to AV to get the screen to come back. Thanks to this amazing product, I no longer have to do that. The screen is very clear and looks great! I could not give it a 5/5 because of one thing: now and then it switches from clear to blurry. I do not know why it does that but it will seldom. Once I unplug and restart it returns to a clear screen.

So I had that urge to revisit some old school nostalgic gaming, but let's be honest, they weren't designed for modern technology obviously. Hence where this little device comes in. While it's stated for the N64, I bought it to use for my SNES as the connection is identical.Read some reviews, and decided to try it myself. Was not disappointed.First main thing to consider is the fact it also uses a USB port to power the entire system. Thankfully my TV has that slot available. What I do question is the fact upon connecting to the back of my unit, it powers the system immediately. That's right, even when the unit is suppose to be turned off. So you have to disconnect the cable in the back to power it back off. While I'm not a fan of this, it works, and that's really all that matters for a 30 year old console.Secondly, it took a few minutes to get it to actually work. From a black screen to blue screen. But hit my Reset on the console and sure enough, game fired up with ease. Outside of that classic need to blow into the cartridge to get it to work.Third, picture and sound have been on point. The device has a setting for 16.9 or 4.3 ratio, and I've had it on 16.9. Seeing the game on my TV again, looking the way they did when I was a kid is absolutely amazing. And on a 55inch TV makes my inner child scream with delight lol.Finally, so far it's worked great as intended and would recommend it. I do wonder if the powering from the device will have some long term effect, my console is 30 years old. But I believe it will be fine.In truth, this device has only fueled my desire to now go after more games to add to my collection. And with cartridges that hold 100+ games, my excitement is just that much more increased.

I bought this unit so my kids could play Nintendo 64 on my 1080p HDTV. And so I could.I bought THIS unit because of the price, because it was well rated/reviewed, and it because it comes with all of the cables it needs.Using it is plug & play simple. I plugged it into my N64, plugged in the HDMI, plugged the USB Micro into the unit, then into my TV's USB port, inserted my WCW/NWO Revenge cartridge (arguably the best wrestling game ever made), turned on the N64 and within seconds the THQ logo appeared on screen.The graphics were blocky, yes, but I was expecting that, and to be honest they were NOT as bad as I was expecting, considering you've got 240 to 480i graphics being displayed on a 1080p TV. But what it all boils down to is it works.What more can I say? It's inexpensive, it comes with everything you need, and it works.

Product does not work well at all. Color is all washed out, and video output keeps blinking like its the wrong refresh rate, even though it detected the correct one. Tried on both available aspect ratios. Tried on multiple TVs with multiple N64 decks. Product is a dud unfortunately.
