I got this yarn winder for Christmas. I used it several times and it worked great. But after less than six weeks of use, I tried to attach it to my table again, and it won't stay on, making the yarn winder useless. I sent the Speensun company an email three days ago, asking for a replacement. So far I have heard nothing from them. Their brochure says they offer a 180-day warranty, so I am hoping they reply soon to my email.

So far this has been a wonderful tool to make much easier to work with balls of yarn. Easy to set up, easy to use. Couldnt recommend it more.

If you put the pieces together where’s that are designed to go, works well. The guiding arm/wire was a bit off at first and the winding did not work as well. This winder is not for a large amount of yarn.

This works so fast and required a lot less effort than winding a yarn ball by hand. The machine spins so smoothly and you barely have to put strength into spinning the handle, it's very easy to operate. There is a limit to how big the yarn ball can be though, so that's the downside compared to hand winding.
