This drag sled is made from heavy weigh materials, the bottom plastic is thick and looks like it should hold up fairly well at least on grass while dragging it. The top is more of a heavy fabric, there is a heavy weight metal bar that has attachment places for the plastic coated steel cables for dragging with a lawn tractor. The weight of the whole system is fairly substantial. This is not a lightweight sled, I would probably only use it for moving heavy things like tree limbs and trunks and rocks that are too heavy to lift into a cart and you will probably need a motorized vehicle to drag the whole thing when loaded. The sled definitely has it's place for not having to lift very heavy items into a cart. I think it might work well for dragging firewood in deep snow as well, it seems like it would glide along the surface. This is not something I would use for hauling lightweight things like leaves. There are hand grip cutouts on both sides for 2 person use.

I suppose an occasional pull across a road without rocks would be ok, but it seems like it would wear out if used in that way too often.

As you can see from the photo I had a few large logs to move. The one shown is cherry and weighs a lot - like difficult to even budge by hand. This sled handled that log and others with no problem. It's very well made and the connection mechanism and parts are good and strong. The bottom of the sled is slick and the top has a little grip to keep things in place. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

Very easy to use. I hooked to my riding lawnmower and drug a 400lb doghouse about 50 yards. Very sturdy.
