Picked up a rusty glider with broken straps, wanting to replace them for now I found this kit. Ordered and arrived the next morning I had them swapped in under 25min. With the cost of everything it was a time saver not having to source metal or hardware around town and although thinner they look mostly like the originals.

Got this to replace broken hardware on a vintage glider. They seem thin, but so did the old ones and they probably lasted 40 years. Fast and easy to put on, and mine came with all the bolts and wing nuts. No tools or additional parts required!

I was so grateful to have found these brackets to replace on my old vintage metal glider! I thought I’d have to toss the whole thing. It was quite an undertaking to scrape off almost 6 coats of paint, sand and repaint. I ordered these brackets and lightly sanded them to paint the white gloss that I chose. I am truly pleased

Haven't installed these yet, but from first look I hope they hold up. No where near the same quality as the original brackets that are on the metal glider. These are really no more than thin flimsy flat sheet metal. The original brackets are more like a piece of angle iron. Also they send 4 brackets, but only four bolts and wing nuts. Each bracket needs two bolt/nuts. So if you need to replace all the brackets you better might as well make a trip to the hardware store for more bolts/nuts. Since I really only need to replace one bracket right now, I may double up these replacement brackets to possibly give them more strength, and hope for the best. Once I get the installed and test them out I may give a better rating.
