It's not universal the holes are on the wrong side the tray does not come in and out easy needs a few adjustments but then it could be worth it

I actually purchased this feeder and waterer set to help keep my baby chick brooder clean. Not only does the water stay clean, but it doesn't constantly get spilled out into the bedding like the ones made for chicks do. The feeder is perfect for the little chicks to go into and perch while eating and not making a mess. I was changing the bedding daily before with my regular chick feeder and waterer. The chick waterer I used to use would spill out and soak the bedding making it stink and the food would be spilled out and wasted. I haven't had to do that every day now because the brooder doesn't get messy with spilled food and water everyday. I love that I can sit them flat. I wish there was a way to make them more stable so they don't fall over, but they weren't really made for what I'm using them for and they haven't fell over yet. I am VERY HAPPY with this product!

It definitely keeps the cage and floor a lot cleaner and I don't have to feed the birds as often but you have to check every day and empty out used seeds which does happen to have a lot of uneaten seeds in it the birds pick out the ones that they don't like and drop them. Also the water container doesn't automatically fill all the way to the top the part that they drink out of I have to kind of jiggle it to get the water to fill up so they can actually drink it otherwise they don't have access to the water I may consider putting back what I had before because the water containers are not that effective. Overall it's nice but I probably should have picked something else as a water container for them.

Not sturdy, and will not fit medium or large bird seed.Was a complete waste of money.
