Water spout in the it was to deep for parakeets to use. Better used by a bird with a pointed beak like a finch or canary.

I got these for extra water for our parakeet while we were away for a few days. I didn't use them for the food because he tends to just leave the seed shells and not dig to much for more. I was worried he would starve so I used both for water and had other dishes for extra seeds. I highly recommend setting two up with water if you are in a bind and have no one to watch your bird.

Needs to sit on something because it will not clamp to cage; also the feeder is far too small for my parakeets to eat their seeds. They fill up the spout with husks and cannot get seeds to fall any furthers.It is great for water, but nothing else.

Got these for our birds while we went on vacation. The spout was slightly larger than the gap in the bars of cage but we made it work. Friends watching birds were happy the food/water lasted and they didn't have to open cage.

These are a pair of feeders/waterers. They arrived on time and we're packaged well. Unfortunately one of the green plastic collars broke as we attempted to mount it on the exterior of the cage, making that feeder useless. The second green collar was too large allowing the feeder to slide right out. I used a rubber band to temporarily keep it in place but they must be replaced with something usable and sturdy. No, I do not recommend this cheaply made product. It was a waste of time and money.

These are great for changing water without opening the cage! This is important if your birds get freaked out or even if you just have someone bird-sitting who isn't comfortable reaching inside. They also stay clean for several days, and are reasonably easy to clean when they become soiled.The only downside is that they're made of very rigid, brittle plastic which leaks after a time. I get about 6-8 months out of one of these before having to toss it; however, they're cheap enough to be worth replacing.

These feeders are a lot smaller than expected and if I was looking to change their water 2-3 times a week this would not be my go to as this doesn't look sturdy enough to fill with water nor does it appear to hold enough water and not fall off the cage. I'm not adding water to it to test it out, I'm simply going to return the item and find another feeder where their water won't be contaminated as much. I can’t even fill it up with water without spilling it because you have to flip it upside down to hang it on the cage

When trying to check out the product when attached to cage it jammed and opened. Food everywhere. Would not recommend this product

Serves as an adequate water dispenser, but totally ineffective as a feeder. Trough is too small for seeds to effectively flow into. Easy separates, spilling seed all over the floor. Don't waste your money.
