Bought this for our 8 month old puppy. It keeps him safe in the backseat of the car and not in our laps. He is a bundle of energy and got twisted in it this week, but that was his fault.

My only niggle is that it's dropped a £ between ordering and delivery which is annoying. That apart, the harness is good quality and has flexibility for seatbelt connection if needed.. Recommended.

When my dog rides in the car, he likes to sit in the middle of the back seat and look forward. Whenever we do make a slight sudden stop, it makes him trip and hit his head on the middle. I found this and thought it would work perfectly.It was easy to install and it prevents him from hitting his head. I would highly recommend. We have not have an accident so I'm hoping it'll hold up in an accident as well.

Sadie is a chewer but hasn't tried to chew this harness yet. She probably could, it's amazing what she can destroy with her teeth, we don't take chances with her any longer when it comes to chewing. We keep an eye on her. Maybe because she's so curious about where we going. We like it because it gives her some freedom to move around and she can see out the windows more than in her crate. We don't know if we'll use on long trips or not yet. If we do, we will use our seat cover that attaches to head rest in front & back that would keep her from failing from the back seat. We will be buying another so we have one in each vehicle.
