The part worked great! Just be careful installing the part. Lift up the part under the drive gear on the left and get one end of the new part under it before napping it in place and make sure the small end on the bottom of the part is lined up with the guide slot on the bottom before you push in all the way onto the pivot shaft. I was worried when I read about people having broken parts when they got them but this Yanzeo part came in a nice sturdy box "as you can see in the picture" in the mail. Happy with it all.

Before you atemp to repair your printer you must see videons on the inthernet. one thing to know is that the little notch goes on the wall where you paper try goes you have to make sure its clicked all the way in

I would call this a precision plastic part :) there are very small details to the part and they mesh perfectly in the intricate mecanism of the printer. Solved the issue caused by the breakage of a half-square mm piece of the original part

I kept getting the put paper iin the paper tray message on my Brother all in one. There was plenty of paper in the tray. i watched a few You Tube videos where they explain how this part will fix that issue. It took less than an hour to fix and i was going slow, since i was nervous about opening up the printer to get to this part. The part works perfectly and now my printer works great again. This saved my printer from going to a landfill.

This part is an inexpensive critical component to fix a common “ paper out” error on multiple Brother printer models ( even though there is enough paper). This renders the printer inoperative and turns the printer into a paperweight. The design of Brother printer paper trays uses a plastic prong on the paper tray to press against this cam part. The cam is pushed forward when the paper tray is fully inserted, and the cam engages other gears and micro switches, thus telling the machine there is paper and so it can print. There are multiple YouTube videos on how to replace this cam. It’s not hard to do and takes about 15 minutes. This keeps your machine out of the landfill and saves you hundreds of dollars in printer replacement. It’s a win-win.

I received this plastic piece and it fit perfectly into my Brother HL-2270DW B&W laser printer. Fixed my paper tray out error, prints fine now. The lever can be damaged by overly aggressive paper tray closure...chill. The two plastic tabs on the front left, and one in back, was able to remove the left panel of the printer housing. I carefully pried back to top of the black top-clip on the motor/gear nearest the broken piece so I could slide that gear out for better access. Always use the minimal force/distance required on these fragile plastic parts, whether internal or external. You don't have to remove the spring clip, just lift off damaged piece and move aside. I had to slightly lift one gear on the smaller tab side to slide that small end cam part underneath the gearpiece so I could rotate the bigger/wider/curved side's tab into the slit opening. If that doesn't make sense, sorry...but when looking at the printer maybe you will get it.

My Brother 7860 printer suddenly refused to take paper. A web search indicated this as the likely culprit. I ordered this without making sure that it was this part that broke, but sure enough, it was this. This part combined with a youtube video was what it took. I had a much harder time than the youtube guy did getting the top piece in the little crescent slot, but after 10-15 minutes, I finally did it, and the printer works.

Direct replacement for original on a MFC-7860. Install was fairly easy. Took a little time to get it seated properly on the staff. Great item to keep my printer going.

Our Brother Laser Printer quit working one day a few weeks back. The machine refused to pick up paper out of the paper drawer. We've had the printer for a few years and, as cheap as they are now, figured it was time to replace it. A quick search of the issues on the internet quickly showed me that this might be a quick and cheap fix. I unplugged and opened up the printer, and sure enough, this little plastic part was broken. Why is it always the cheap little plastic part that breaks? Anyway, Amazon shipped it out in 2 days, I replaced it, using a YouTube video as a guide and voila, the printer is good as new. Great part, perfect fit.
