Used to shield engine oil cooler lines away from downpipes on a Twin Turbo c7 corvette z06.No issues so far and the lines run about .5 inch away from the downpipes.

Used this on two 5/8” rubber fuel/oil hoses in my truck engine compartment. Especially good to protect hoses from chaffing and heat. Recommend 4 hose clamps instead of 3.
