The exhaust Header Wrap is constructed from fiberglass yarn, extremely pliable for a tight and secure wrap. Withstands 1200°F direct/2500°F intermittent heat.
Excellent thermal insulation, suitable for motorcycle protection header or automotive turbo applications for increased horsepower. And suitable insulation for gas water heater exhaust pipe and household gas pipeline.
Titanium wraps offer a very cool carbon fiber look. High resistance to abrasions, oil spills, temperatures and vibration breakdown.

Do not buy. Will shred into tiny fibers. Burned after break in period and was making vehicle smell like crazy.

It did a great job cutting down the heat from my motorcycle exhaust pipe but make sure to wear gloves for the installation otherwise it will turn your hands black.

I protected a generator exhaust pipe and used stainless steel wire to secure.DANGER I didn’t read any warnings MEN DONT READ INSTRUCTIONS right ?I became very itchy on my arms and hands after installing. I’d suggest a mask tooAsbestos is my thought. Read first !

I have used this before to wrap the exhaust on a diesel heater. It helps dampen the sound of the heater. Very easy to use. You just overlap it a little as you wrap it around the pipe. Works well.

Burned my leg pretty bad a few times on my Honda V1300. Decided I had enough and ordered this. Worked great. Easy to install and looks good. Metal ties are a nice touch.

It works well for my generator exhaust extension. I ran it through the garage wall to the outside and wrapped it several times where it goes through the wall. I used a heat gun to check the temps. It is pretty good stuff, but you can pay more from a motorcycle shop and get a better product. I am happy enough with it. Note: I have a detached garage, running a generator in an attached garage even vented to the outside, is not a good idea and could be fatal.
