Self tapping threads and gasket prevent leaks
Simply drill a hole using the included 9mm drill bit, screw in the Button Light housing and tighten using a 5/8" socket or wrench, plug in the lights, and power them up! No wires to cut, no splicing, no caulking, and most importantly no LEAKS!

Each LED Button Light kit includes a 9mm drill bit, 2 Button Lights with 12ft fully insulated wires pre-terminated with a plug-and-play connector and a y-splitter that plugs directly into the Power Panel switcher for complete control. No cutting or splicing. Just plug them in and start fishing!

I'm going to agree with some of the others, these look great, but as one person said, they do not last long at all and it's extremely frustrating. I've replaced several already after only a few months and that's not normal for an LED type of light source.

When I first got these lights, I wasn't sure how I would like them. Using the plug in adapters that came as a part of the light wasn't getting a great connection and had to giggle on the connection to get it to light up and on the water, I need constant light when needed without giggling on the lights. I ended up cutting the quick connect off and wired direct with solder to give a solid connection. I bypassed what was a part of the expense in these lights, but they do light up great. I reduced a star because of the connection. I ended up buying more of different colors and the connections seem to be doing well on those without cutting the wires. Yes, I like them and they give off great light. I outfitting my kayak with lights for seeing in my mid section deck as well as I used two of these on each side of my kayak for navigation lights in green and red also. They seem to be well made lights.
